Why a portfolio

Three independent sleeves across metals, energy and crypto. Different markets tend to move at different times, which smooths the combined curve.

Each sleeve has its own magic number, risk weight and hard stop. A total-open-risk cap keeps the overall exposure limited.

Risk management

  • Risk per trade as a % of balance (fixed), or an optional prop "cushion" schedule that shrinks risk near the loss limits
  • Hard stop loss on every position. No grid, no martingale, no averaging down
  • Daily-loss pause (4.5%), daily-loss flatten (4.8%) and max-loss halt (9%), all adjustable
  • Optional Friday close / Monday reopen and keep-alive trade
  • Spread filter, MT5-calendar news filter, minimum-lot fallback for small accounts
  • Missing symbols are skipped automatically; a broker suffix input handles names like US500.r

Signal-only mode

For accounts where EAs are not allowed: alerts (terminal, push, e-mail) for every entry and exit. No trades are placed.

Backtest (MT5 Strategy Tester, IC Markets data, 1-minute OHLC, $100,000, default risk, 2020-01-01 to 2026-10-09)

  • Net profit +$59,434 on $100,000, profit factor 1.70, 620 trades (about 1.8 per week)

Requirements

MetaTrader 5, hedging account recommended, broker offering the listed symbols, VPS recommended. Attach to one chart (any symbol, M15); the EA manages all symbols from there. Recommended deposit: $3,000+ for the full basket; on $1,000 some trades use the minimum lot and risk more than the target.
