Averion EA – Smart Trend & Momentum Trading with Built-in Protection
Averion is a fully automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It combines RSI and a 90-period EMA to find entries, so it trades with the broader trend and does not chase every price move.
How It Works
Averion places a trade only when several conditions line up. A trend filter built on the EMA 90 keeps entries aligned with the prevailing direction, and an RSI-based momentum trigger times each entry. Signals that don’t meet every condition are skipped, which means fewer trades but more selective ones.
The EA manages each trade sequence on its own once a position is open. It also trades in one direction at a time and never opens hedged positions.

Input Parameters
Identity & Risk Settings
- Magic Number: unique ID for the EA’s trades
- Auto Lot (ON/OFF) and Auto Lot % of balance
- Initial Lot: used when Auto Lot is OFF
Exit Settings
- Daily Target (%): set to 0 to disable
Day Filter
- Enable or disable trading for each day, Monday to Friday. Friday is off by default.
Slippage & Margin Protection
- Max Slippage (points)
- Stop Out Level (margin level %): set to 0 to disable
- Averaging Block Level (margin level %): set to 0 to disable
Recommendations
- Test on a demo account first, and use the Strategy Tester to find settings that suit your broker and symbol.
- Use a low-spread ECN or RAW account with fast execution.
- Run it on a VPS for 24/5 operation.
- Start with the minimum lot or a conservative Auto Lot %, and increase gradually.
- Keep adequate free margin. Do not run the EA on an under-funded account.
Risk Disclosure
Averion uses a position-scaling approach within each trade sequence. Like any strategy of this kind, it can hold several positions at once during adverse market moves, and drawdowns can be significant. The built-in margin protections reduce risk but cannot eliminate it. Past performance and backtest results do not guarantee future results. Trading leveraged products involves substantial risk, so only trade with capital you can afford to lose.
