XQ Gold Portfolio runs seven independent trading models on gold (XAUUSD) from a single chart. Each model has its own entry logic, its own stop loss and its own trailing stop. They share one risk budget, so the account is protected as a whole, not model by model.
WHAT IT TRADES
- Previous-day level breakouts, Asian session and around the clock
- Trend change on M15 confirmed on M5, Asian session
- Opening range breakout of the Asian session
- Channel breakouts on M1, M5 and M15 with higher-timeframe direction filter
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
- No grid, no martingale, no averaging, no hedging of losing trades
- No news trading, no arbitrage, no latency tricks
- Every position has a hard stop loss from the first tick
RISK MANAGEMENT
- Position size is calculated from capital and the distance to the stop
- Daily loss limit 3%: trading pauses until the next day
- Maximum 7 positions, one per model
- Capital tiers: the EA reads your capital and selects the models and risk automatically
- from 1 000 USD: 4 models, minimum lot, risk per trade up to 1.5% of capital
- from 1 500 USD: 5 models, risk per trade up to 1.0%
- from 5 000 USD: all 7 models, 0.1–0.5% per trade
Recommended minimum 2 000 USD on a 100 oz contract. The tier changes automatically as the account grows.
SETUP
- Symbol: XAUUSD (any suffix, e.g. XAUUSD#, XAUUSDs, GOLD). Attach to ONE M1 chart
- Account type: hedging recommended (netting supported, one position at a time)
- Leverage 1:100 or higher
- VPS or a computer running 24/5 – most trades open between 00:00 and 07:00 UTC
- Low-spread broker recommended; entries are skipped when spread exceeds 0.60 USD

- Magic number, trade comment, broker server UTC offset
All strategy parameters are fixed inside the EA and tuned on 2024–2026 data. There is nothing to optimise.
BACKTEST
Strategy Tester, XAUUSD M1, 1-minute OHLC, 1 Jan 2025 – 8 Oct 2026, default settings:
- 10 000 USD: net profit 43 779 USD (+438%), profit factor 1.31, max balance drawdown 13.6%, 4 757 trades, 18 of 22 months profitable
- 2 000 USD: +262%, profit factor 1.26, max balance drawdown 20.3%
- 1 000 USD: +359%, profit factor 1.25, max balance drawdown 21.1%
