Dominator X is an automated trading system built for XAUUSD (Gold), engineered to run on the M5 timeframe. It combines algorithmic logic with data-driven market analysis to spot trading opportunities through predefined rules and systematic evaluation — no discretionary guesswork involved.

Key Functional Components
- Position Control — Dominator X manages a tightly controlled number of simultaneous positions. There's no martingale, grid, or arbitrage logic anywhere in the system. Every entry and exit is governed by fixed stop-loss and take-profit values set in the input parameters, and a built-in cooldown mechanism prevents the EA from overtrading after back-to-back entries.
- Risk Handling — Lot size and maximum position count are fully configurable to match your account size. A hard safety cap limits risk per trade as a percentage of balance, so an oversized stop-loss can never trigger unexpected drawdown. Trades are automatically blocked during abnormal spread spikes to protect execution quality, and a daily loss limit with a circuit-breaker pauses trading after a set number of consecutive losses.
- Data-Driven Logic — On every tick, the system evaluates recent market data against its internal conditions. Filters check market state, session timing, and price behavior before any order goes out. Everything runs locally inside MetaTrader 5 — no external services, cloud AI engines, or third-party data feeds required.
- Execution Module — Spread and trading conditions are checked before every order is sent, and available margin is verified first, so you won't see orders rejected for insufficient funds. A trailing stop engages automatically once a position hits a defined profit threshold, locking in gains as price moves further in your favor. Market conditions are reassessed after every closed trade before a new entry is allowed, and open positions are force-closed after a configurable timeout to avoid stale trades sitting on the chart.
How to Start

Trade frequency isn't constant — there will be stretches with no trades at all, depending on market conditions and which internal filters are active. Results depend on broker execution quality, spread conditions, VPS uptime, and overall market volatility. Always test different configurations in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester before going live. Dominator X is built for ECN-type brokers, and performance may vary on market-maker or fixed-spread accounts. A minimum balance of $200 is required for safe operation at 0.01 lot; $300 or more is recommended when running 2–3 positions at once.
