Entry Logic
DualX Gold Hunter does not simply open a trade whenever a conventional indicator produces a Buy or Sell signal.
Instead, the EA evaluates market structure and directional movement before looking for the conditions required for a potential entry.

Stop Loss
Each trade is protected by a dynamically calculated Stop Loss based on the market structure associated with the trade.
The initial Stop Loss is positioned beyond the relevant structural area with an additional volatility-based protection buffer.
This allows the Stop Loss to adapt to current market conditions rather than relying exclusively on a fixed number of points.
Partial Exit System
DualX Gold Hunter does not rely on a single fixed Take Profit level.
Instead, the EA progressively reduces the position as the trade develops through multiple R-based profit targets.
The current commercial configuration uses:

A total of 84% of the original position can therefore be progressively reduced through the predefined R-based stages.
The remaining position is managed by the EA's structural exit logic.
Partial percentages are calculated from the original position volume, rather than the remaining volume.
Broker minimum-volume and volume-step requirements may affect individual partial executions.
Breakeven Protection
After the first profit-management stage has been reached, DualX Gold Hunter can automatically adjust the Stop Loss toward the entry price.
The system uses a volatility-based offset when applying this protection.
The purpose is to reduce the risk of the remaining position while allowing the trade to continue participating in a developing market movement.
Dynamic Trailing Stop
DualX Gold Hunter includes a dynamic trailing-stop system designed to adapt to the development of the market.
Rather than using a simple fixed-point trailing distance, the EA evaluates the progression of the market movement and dynamically adjusts the protective Stop Loss as the trade develops.
As price continues to move in the intended direction, the trailing mechanism can progressively protect a greater portion of the open position.
The Stop Loss is only adjusted when the new level provides an improvement in trade protection. It does not move backwards in a way that increases the original trade risk.
This approach allows the position to remain active while the market movement continues to develop, while progressively protecting accumulated gains.
Risk Management
DualX Gold Hunter provides several position-sizing methods.
Risk Percent
Position size can be calculated according to a percentage of the account balance.
Risk Money
The user can specify a fixed monetary amount to risk per trade.
Fixed Lot
The user can also use a fixed trading volume.
The EA calculates the appropriate position size according to the selected method while considering the actual Stop Loss distance and broker trading specifications.
The default commercial configuration uses:
1% risk per trade
The risk setting can be adjusted by the user.
Daily Risk Protection
The EA includes a daily loss protection mechanism designed to prevent new trades after the configured daily loss limit has been reached.
The default setting is:
Maximum Daily Loss: 3%
When the daily limit is reached, the EA stops opening new positions for the remainder of the trading day.
Existing positions are not automatically closed by the daily-loss protection.
Spread Filter
Gold can experience significant changes in spread, particularly during periods of lower liquidity, market openings, major news events and rapid price movements.
Because DualX Gold Hunter is sensitive to trading spread, the EA includes an adaptive spread filter that compares the current spread with recent market spread conditions.
This helps the system avoid entering trades when the current spread becomes unusually high compared with normal market conditions.
Important Backtesting Recommendation
Because spread conditions can have a meaningful effect on the results of this strategy, backtesting should be performed using:
Every tick based on real ticks
This is strongly recommended when evaluating the EA in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester.
Results obtained using simplified tick models or unrealistic spread assumptions may not accurately represent the trading conditions under which the EA operates.
For more meaningful evaluations, use the broker's actual Gold symbol and corresponding historical market data whenever possible.
