**Aurum Adaptive EA** is a fully automated trading system designed for MetaTrader 5, utilizing a sophisticated layered Martingale strategy combined with an integrated Hedging layer.
The EA executes a structured grid scaling sequence on one side of the market. If that side accumulates a significant number of unrealized layers without hitting the take-profit target, the system automatically deploys a hedge position on the opposite side. Rather than allowing drawdown to expand indefinitely in one direction, the hedge serves as a counter-balance once a configurable trigger level is reached. This mechanism provides a robust approach to managing exposure from both directions instead of aggressively scaling in a single direction.

* **Layered Martingale Core:** Opens additional same-direction positions on adverse price movements, using a configurable lot multiplier and grid step (auto-adjusted for 3/5-digit and JPY-quoted brokers).
* **Automatic Opposite-Side Hedge:** Triggers once one side reaches a set number of layers without hitting TP, managed as its own independent martingale sequence.
* **Basket Trailing Stop:** Locks in profits based on the combined floating result of all open positions, rather than managing them per individual trade.
* **Spread & Trading Hours Filter:** Automatically pauses new entries when the market spread widens beyond a set limit or when trading outside the configured active hours.
* **Lot Normalization:** Automatically adjusts and normalizes lot sizes according to the specific broker rules for each symbol.
* **Hedging Account Required:** Developed exclusively for MT5 Hedging accounts. The strategy relies on holding opposite-direction positions simultaneously and will not function on a Netting account.
