Trade Gold with a Systematic Early-Momentum Approach

Quazar is a specialized Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, designed specifically for short-term trading of XAUUSD on the M1 timeframe.

Instead of continuously trading every market movement, Quazar waits for a specific combination of liquidity sweep, strong price displacement and structural confirmation before looking for an entry.

The objective is simple: identify early directional momentum while filtering out low-quality market conditions.

Quazar analyzes closed M1 candles and significant liquidity levels, including previous-day levels, session levels and relevant market swings. When price takes liquidity and subsequently demonstrates strong directional momentum, the EA evaluates the structure for a potential trade.

Quazar is not designed to trade constantly. When the required conditions are not present, the EA can simply stay out of the market.

How Quazar Works

The core signal sequence is:

1. Liquidity Sweep
Price interacts with a significant liquidity level.

2. Displacement
A strong directional movement confirms that the sweep may be followed by a meaningful move.

3. Structural Confirmation
Quazar evaluates the resulting market structure, including BOS/FVG conditions.

4. Early-Momentum Entry
When the predefined conditions are satisfied, Quazar looks for an entry in the direction of the confirmed momentum.

5. Automated Risk Management
Stop Loss, Take Profit and position size are calculated according to the configured risk model.

Risk Management

Risk control is an integral part of the system.

The default configuration includes:

• Risk per trade: 0.5%

• Stop Loss: ATR-based

• Take Profit: 1.8R

• Maximum trades per day: 6

• Maximum consecutive losses: 3

• Daily loss limit: 3%

• Equity protection: 4%

• Daily profit limit: 5%

• Minimum signal interval: 5 minutes

• One position at a time

These controls are designed to prevent uncontrolled trading during unfavorable conditions.

No Martingale. No Grid.

Quazar does not use:

• Martingale position sizing

• Grid trading

• Averaging down

• Progressive recovery lots

Each trade is evaluated independently according to the predefined strategy and risk parameters.

Built for Gold

Quazar is intentionally not a universal multi-symbol EA.

It is calibrated specifically for:

XAUUSD · M1 · 2-digit pricing · Point = 0.01

This specialization allows the strategy's price-action thresholds and execution logic to remain aligned with the intended gold trading environment.

Account & Platform Requirements

MetaTrader 5

• MT5 build 6090 or newer

• Hedging account required

• Netting accounts are rejected during initialization

• M1 timeframe

• XAUUSD-compatible symbol with:

  • 2 digits

  • Point = 0.01

Broker Server Time

Trading sessions are defined using the broker's server time.

The default configuration uses:

13:00–21:00 server time

Make sure your broker's server time corresponds to the intended trading session before using the EA.

Recommended Starting Balance

A starting balance of approximately $2,000 or more is recommended when using 0.5% risk per trade.

The appropriate balance depends on the broker's contract specifications, minimum lot size, account currency and available margin.

Important: Minimum Lot Risk

On small accounts, the broker's minimum permitted lot may be larger than the calculated risk-based position size.

In this situation, the actual monetary risk can be higher than the selected percentage.

Always verify the resulting lot size before trading.

VPS Recommended

Because Quazar operates on the M1 timeframe and uses defined trading sessions, a VPS is recommended for continuous operation.

The EA does not require external APIs, web services or third-party connections.

Safety & Isolation

Quazar is designed to operate independently from other trading activity on the account.

Its trading operations are isolated using the configured Magic Number.

It does not intentionally manage:

• Manual positions

• Positions belonging to other Expert Advisors with different Magic Numbers

The EA also includes execution and environment safeguards designed to prevent trading when required market or terminal conditions are not available.

Important Limitations

Please read these before purchasing.

XAUUSD only: Quazar is calibrated for 2-digit XAUUSD pricing with Point = 0.01.

Hedging only: Netting accounts are rejected.

Server time: Session parameters use broker server time. Incorrect server-time configuration can result in the EA not opening trades during the intended market session.

Minimum lot: On small accounts, broker minimum-lot restrictions can increase the actual risk above the calculated percentage.

Maximum lot: Broker volume limits can restrict the calculated position size.

Account currency: Risk calculations can differ from the selected percentage on accounts with unsupported or different profit currencies. Review your broker's contract specifications.

Gold volatility: XAUUSD on M1 can experience rapid price movements, increased spreads and execution changes during volatile market conditions.
