1. A living “Aggressiveness Score” (0–100)
Most EAs trade the same way in every market.
Aurelia computes a context-aware score from its realized results (profit factor, winrate, drawdown, loss streaks) plus market context (regime, volatility, open drawdown).
This single score then scales risk size, trailing distance and profit-taking speed.
Winning in a calm trend → the EA presses its edge.
Losing streak or volatility spike → it automatically defends.
2. It solves the #1 EA killer: giving back open profits
The Adaptive Exit Manager was built specifically against the classic pattern “EA is in profit, then ends at a loss”:
• Staged taking: partial at +1.5R, partial at +3R, runner beyond
• Breakeven protection after the first partial
• ATR trailing that widens in trends + Momentum Lock – during strong acceleration the stop is deliberately kept loose so winners are not shaken out early
• Structure (swing) trailing + profit-floor ratchet: once a trade reaches a new peak, the EA never gives back more than a fixed, configurable give-back
• Early invalidation: a trade that is wrong is cut at ~0.8R instead of waiting for the full stop – small losses, big psychological and statistical advantage
3. Adaptation that cannot self-destruct
Many “self-learning” EAs over-adapt and switch themselves off after a losing phase.
Aurelia uses bounded, gentle adaptation:
engine weights adjust with proven performance but are floored, regime switching uses hysteresis (separate enter/exit thresholds, no flip-flopping), and a short-performance gate automatically suspends short entries only when their realized performance is demonstrably toxic – and re-enables them when they recover.
4. One EA, every timeframe
Exit parameters (trail width, swing lookback, give-back) automatically scale with the timeframe: tight for M15/M30 scalping, wide for H1/H4 swing.
You do not need separate products or manual re-tuning per chart.

• Regime Engine (hysteresis): TREND UP / TREND DOWN / RANGE / HIGH VOLATILITY – entries and exits adapt to the regime; high-volatility regimes automatically reduce or block new exposure
• Three signal engines: Trend (EMA structure + ADX + MACD), Mean-Reversion (RSI extremes with confirmation), Breakout (range breakout with volume expansion). Signals are combined into a normalized composite – no single indicator decides
• Institutional-footprint filter: volume-spike / candle-body / close-location analysis (no external feeds) confirms that real participation is behind a signal
• HTF bias filter (H4): counter-trend trades against the higher-timeframe trend are filtered out
• Full risk stack: percent-risk lot sizing with margin checks, spread-vs-ATR cost filter, session filter (GMT), escalating loss-streak cooldown, equity guard (halves risk in drawdown, blocks entries in deep drawdown), hard per-trade maximum loss
• Self-learning loop: engine weights and the aggressiveness score update from closed trades – the EA gradually favors what actually works on your broker, spread and symbol
📈 HOW IT TRADES (IN ONE MINUTE)
1. Each confirmed bar, the engines vote; the composite signal must pass quality, regime, HTF-bias, order-flow, spread and news checks.
2. Position opens with a volatility-based stop (ATR) and risk-based lot size.
3. The Exit Manager takes over: partials → breakeven → momentum-aware trailing → profit-floor ratchet. Wrong trades are invalidated early; dead trades are closed by the stale-trade timer.
4. Meanwhile the learning layer watches every closed trade and adjusts aggressiveness, engine weights and the short gate.
⚙️ REQUIREMENTS & RECOMMENDATIONS
• Platform: MetaTrader 5 (all builds; calendar mode optional on build 2085+)
• Symbol: optimized for XAUUSD / Gold (any broker suffix). Other symbols possible but must be re-tested
• Timeframe: H1 recommended as primary; M15 works as a secondary, half-risk satellite
• Account: hedging account recommended; low-spread ECN/raw accounts strongly recommended for gold
• VPS: recommended for stable execution and news handling
• Telegram (optional): add https://api.telegram.org to the allowed WebRequest URLs
🚀 GETTING STARTED
1. Attach to an XAUUSD chart (H1). Defaults are the researched baseline – no tuning required to start.
2. Set your risk per trade (default 0.5%).
3. Run a real-tick backtest over 1–2 years, then 2–4 weeks demo/forward before live capital.
4. Optionally enable the news file or calendar mode, session filter and Telegram feed.
