This trend indicator combines the power of an adaptive trend filter with dynamic volatility assessment (ATR), filtering out false flat-market movements.

Flexible Input Parameters

You can fully adapt the indicator to your trading style (scalping, intraday, or swing trading):

  • MAPeriod: The period of the base trend filter. The higher the value, the more global the trend the indicator captures.

  • ATR Period: The period for analyzing market volatility.

  • ATR Multiplier: Momentum strength coefficient. Allows you to filter out minor market noise. Increase this parameter to make signals rarer but more precise.

  • Arrow Offset: Distance in points between the signal arrow and the candle for your visual convenience.

  • Use Alert / Use Push / Use Mail: Simple toggle switches (true/false) to activate the desired notification types.

Trading Recommendations

  • Trend Trading: Enter a trade in the direction of the arrow.

  • Exiting Positions: It is recommended to place a Stop Loss beyond the nearest local extreme (low/high) and take Take Profit upon the appearance of an opposite signal or at a fixed risk-to-reward ratio (e.g., 1:2).
