Overview
Nexus Quantum Trader v2.0 is a highly complex Expert Advisor specifically designed to trade the XAU/USD pair (Gold vs. Dollar) on the M5 timeframe. It integrates a multi-layered technology stack that combines artificial intelligence, statistical models, and advanced price analysis to identify entry opportunities with a high confluence of signals.
The system does not rely on a single entry criterion: each executed trade is the result of the simultaneous validation of multiple analysis engines, significantly reducing false signals typical of high-volatility markets like gold.
Artificial Intelligence Engine
BiLSTM Engine (Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory) The core of the EA incorporates a BiLSTM neural network that analyzes sequences of up to 30 candlesticks in both directions—forward and backward—capturing past and future time dependencies within the data window. It uses 16 hidden units and operates with a configurable confidence threshold (default 60%), ensuring that only signals with high statistical certainty trigger trades.
Multinomial Logistic Regression (3 classes) A logistic regression model trained in real time with a 20-candle lookback extracts up to 10 features of price behavior. The model self-updates every 5 bars using gradient descent with a learning rate of 0.05, dynamically adapting to changing gold market conditions.
Market Structure Analysis
Liquidity Sweeps: The EA automatically detects liquidity sweeps on previous highs and lows using wick analysis, bar confirmation, and mitigation validation. It only trades when the price returns to the swept area, following the institutional logic of accumulation and distribution.
Fair Value Gaps (FVG): Identifies and draws price imbalances on the chart, waiting for the price to return and fill them as a potential entry zone supported by market efficiency.
Classic Chart Patterns: Automatic recognition of Head & Shoulders and Double Top/Bottom patterns with neckline analysis, projected target, and configurable tolerance. The default lookback is 50 candles with confidence validation for each detected pattern.
Pure Price Action: Detection of Harami, Tweezer Tops/Bottoms, and Marubozu candles (90% minimum body size) as additional confirmation of trend reversals or continuation.

Dynamic Position Management
Trailing Stop: Activated at 8 pips of profit, adjusting the stop every 4 pips to progressively protect profits.
Automatic Break Even: When the position reaches 10 pips of profit, the stop loss moves to the entry price + 2 pips, eliminating the risk of the trade.
Optional Confirmation Filters
The EA includes three additional confluence filters (independently activated):
Stochastic (K5, D3, Slowing3) with overbought/oversold levels
Momentum (period 14) as a momentum filter
Williams %R (period 14) for extreme price conditions
The MinFiltersToPass parameter defines how many of these filters must be validated simultaneously before confirming an entry.
Real-Time Visual Panel
The EA includes a HUD panel overlaid on the chart that displays in real time: signal and confidence of the active AI engine, daily statistics (trades, wins, P&L), current equity, drawdown, and the status of all systems. The FVG and Liquidity Sweep zones are drawn directly on the chart with colors differentiated by direction.
