Most overbought/oversold indicators react to price. This one gets ahead of it.

The Oscillator Predictor calculates dynamic OB and OS price bands that appear directly on your candlestick chart — before the bar closes. These levels represent where the market would be considered statistically overextended, and they stay fixed for the entire bar regardless of how price moves. That stability is the edge.

Joe DiNapoli developed this concept over decades of live futures and commodity trading. This indicator is built on those same principles, faithfully reconstructed for MetaTrader 5.

HOW TRADERS USE IT

  • Profit targets — when price approaches the OB band in a long trade, you have an objective reason to take profits rather than guessing
  • Entry filter — avoid buying into already overbought conditions, avoid shorting into oversold ones
  • Stop placement — the OS band gives a logical reference for stop distance that adapts to current market volatility, not a fixed pip value
  • Trend filter — when price repeatedly tags the OB band without reaching OS, the trend is telling you something
