Expert Advisor Breakout for XAUUSD

Kefren Bot Gold is an Expert Advisor for XAUUSD (Gold) on MetaTrader 5. It automatically detects breakouts of support and resistance levels and places pending orders at validated zones. Each trade includes its own Stop Loss. Position size is calculated as a percentage of account balance. No grid, no martingale, no lot multiplication.

How it works

The EA identifies key support and resistance zones on the chart and places Buy Stop or Sell Stop orders at breakout levels. Once active, each position is managed independently using Stop Loss, Take Profit, Breakeven and Trailing Stop. The system operates across seven internal strategy modules, each with its own signal logic and exit timing.

Ready to use

No additional configuration required. Simply attach the EA to a XAUUSD chart on the H1 timeframe and activate it. The default parameters are calibrated to operate conservatively from the first moment.

By default the EA operates with a fixed minimum lot size of 0.01. To enable dynamic risk management, activate UsePercentRisk. The preconfigured value of RiskPercent is 0.05, which represents the recommended balance between steady growth and long-term risk control.

Symbol: XAUUSD Timeframe: H1 Account type: ECN with low spread on gold Recommended deposit: 1000 USD or more VPS recommended for uninterrupted operation.

Main parameters

• UsePercentRisk: when enabled, lot size is calculated automatically based on RiskPercent and account balance. When disabled, FixedLotSize is used. 
• RiskPercent: preconfigured at 0.05. Reference values: 0.05 conservative, 0.10 medium, 0.12 medium-high, 0.15 high. 
• FixedLotSize: 0.01 by default. Reference: 0.01 lots per 1000 USD balance. 
• MinRiskLot and MaxRiskLot: define the allowed lot range. 
• UseMaxOpenDD: active by default at 10% of balance in open risk. 
• UseOnlyUp: active by default. Lot size is always calculated on balance, ignoring floating drawdown. 
• UseDuplicateChance: active by default with 45% probability for additional orders per strategy.

Backtesting

Results shown are based on XAUUSD H1 historical data. The system was manually optimized using walk-forward methodology over the period 2019-2024. The periods 2010-2018 and 2025-2026 are fully out-of-sample and were not used in any optimization phase.
