BouncingKitten Dynamic Grid is a specialized Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that redefines grid trading through Dynamic Volatility Adaptation. Unlike traditional fixed-step grids that often fail during sudden market spikes, BouncingKitten "breathes" with the market — automatically adjusting its grid spacing and profit targets based on real-time price volatility. Profit Maximisation
Dynamic Grid Dynamically scales grid spacing based on real-time market volatility using ATR. The EA expands the grid during high-volatility spikes to protect capital and tightens spacing during stable periods to maximise profit potential.
Independent TP Multiplier Decouples the take-profit distance from grid spacing using a dedicated TP Multiplier parameter. This allows traders to target wider profit windows than the grid step itself, avoiding the previous limitation where TP and grid spacing were identical.
Basket Take Profit Closes all open grid positions as a single unit when total floating profit reaches a defined account currency target. This ensures the entire grid books profit cleanly rather than relying solely on individual position exits.
Trailing Take Profit Automatically moves the stop-loss level in the direction of the trade as price trends strongly, enabling the EA to capture extended market moves beyond fixed TP targets.
Dynamic TP Range Control Flexible TP settings allow traders to define a minimum and maximum profit window. The EA calculates the ideal exit based on current market energy, ensuring trades close at optimal points.
Lot Multiplier Dynamically scales position sizes across grid levels, allowing the EA to increase profit potential during strong price movements while giving traders full control over risk exposure.
Market Intelligence Filters
MA Trend Filter An optional Moving Average filter restricts new grid entries to periods when price trades below a configurable EMA — aligning the buy-only grid strategy with the broader market direction and avoiding entries during sustained uptrends that leave no room for grid expansion.
Session Filter Restricts new order placement to a defined trading window (by server hour), preventing the EA from opening positions during low-liquidity periods such as the Asian session overlap or market open gaps. Supports overnight session ranges (e.g. 22:00–06:00).
Risk Management & Capital Protection
Cooldown After Drawdown Close (New in v1.3) When the equity drawdown protection triggers and closes all positions, the EA enforces a configurable cooldown period before placing any new trades. This prevents the EA from immediately re-entering an adverse market after a forced exit.
Total Order Limit Restricts the maximum number of open grid orders, preventing uncontrolled position accumulation during extreme volatility.
Equity Drawdown Protection Caps overall exposure by automatically closing all positions if the account drawdown exceeds a defined percentage limit, helping to preserve account equity.
Minimum Margin Level Protection Blocks new trades if margin levels fall below a defined threshold (e.g. 500%), ensuring a sufficient buffer against drawdowns.
Spread & Slippage Filter Prevents trade execution during unfavorable market conditions or low-liquidity periods, reducing trading costs and avoiding poor execution quality.
Max Lot Size Cap Limits the maximum lot size per grid level, capping exposure even when the lot multiplier would otherwise push position sizes beyond a safe threshold.
