GBPUSD Market Outlook


In our previous analysis, we have emphasized the importance of the level 1.2300 for its bearish movement.


GBPUSD decided to breakdown below 1.2300. The important meaning of this is that it decided to go down below Primary cycle ((B)). This might present bearish view for GBPUSD now.


Currently it is 50 pips below 1.2300. Hope you had either pull out your buy or enter to sell at this point.

Here is one of alternative theory we are projecting. Since it is quite long range forecast from where we are right now. So you can think this as a just reference for now. It is harder to forecast longer horizon than shorter horizon always.

This analysis is also for you to demonstrate your usage for your Elliott Wave Trend, you can even project Elliott Wave through the future and you don't have to limit your analysis for past data or current data only.

For example, just like we projected our Wave 3, 4 and 5 in the future. You can already calculate your future scenario and important numbers according to your future scenario will be already calculated.


This is pretty impressive I guess. Just for your information, we never draw all these lines manually. All the lines and calculations are automatically done. It took only 2 minutes to pick up one cycle and to produce some alternative scenarios. :)

Here is what is changed in our Mean Reversion Supply Demand for version 2.5.


In version 2.5 here is the new change we have made for our Mean Reversion Supply Demand.

Firstly we are adding Supply and Demand Zone Box Switch to more readily display entry, stop and take profit target for Supply Demand Trading. Just click over the Box switch (i.e. coloured circle) to do so. Or as before, just click around the edge of the box to display entry, stop and target.

Secondly we are adding Entry Price Buffer in Pips. Although Classic Supply Demand Zone trading have some rigid entry price, traders observe often that retouch is made well before the entry price. Use it if you like. If you don’t, then don’t use it.

We have made a minor update in our Elliott Wave Trend.

Instead of showing only Impulse Wave Structural Score, we show both Impulse Wave and Corrective Wave Structural Score.

When you identify impulse Wave (trend), Impulse Wave Structural Score must be greater than Corrective Wave Structural Score. Or At least the Implulse Wave Structural Score must not be marginally smaller than Corrective Wave Structural Score assuming Impluse Wave Structural Score is greather than 80%.

GBPUSD Market Outlook

Following our last GBPUSD market analysis, we have emphasized the level 1.2300 as the very important milestone for future movement of GBPUSD.


Amazingly GBPUSD stayed just above 1.2300 in spite of many bars were nearly touched 1.2300. In fact, the up movment in last few candle bar was made at 0.618 retracement of Wave (1) (since we have invalidated Wave (4) from our previous marking, we must disregarded them. and current Wave (1) and (2) are at nearly 0.618 extention which is good news).

To give you some ideas of future GBPUSD movment, we have two projected base line from wave (1) and (2). In general, wave (3) must be quite higher than this base lines.

Is 1.2300 level still important ? Yes, it is. If there is any market news pushing GBPUSD below 1.2300, then you should prepare to pull out your buy trades (it is our recommendation any way).

GBPUSD Market Outlook

Well, few days ago we made an interesting analysis about GBPUSD.


Here is even more interesting picture from our analysis.


Currently Bullish Bat (detected from Harmonic Pattern Plus) was formed the Corrective Wave C at 1.618 extention.


They are overlapping. We have marked that primary cycle (1), (2) and (3) earlier. However current price is defintely not Wave (4) of our primary wave because Wave (4) can not overlap with Wave (1).


So either GBPUSD should go much higher to form extended Primary wave (3) and wave (4). or, if GBPUSD break down below important Wave C, then this will suggest very strong bearish momement that we are in the corrective wave of bigger cycle.

So you should watch this Wave C level very carefully. It is 1.2300 level for GBPUSD.

Remember this 1.2300 level for your trading.

Ok, our prediction have been amazingly accurate.


GBPUSD is just landed over 1.2500 level.


Here is another clue for your trading.


We have rising wedge formed (red triangle) to give you important diagonal support resistance lines for your trading.


For Price Action Traders, can wait for the price action around this rising wedge patterns. For Elliott Wave Traders, we might have to wait to confirm the ABC corrective Wave.


However there is little too strong reason to have at least small retracement now to upwards (we can only say the small retracement only for now.). We have to wait little bit more to get better picture.

GBPUSD Market Outlook

We have probably mentioned the presence of big wedge pattern in daily and weekly timeframe few month ago in GBPUSD.


Ok, here is an interesting screenshots which is generated fully automated manner (except Elliott Wave Analysis. Elliott Wave Analysis is semi automatic.)


Currently, we have typical zig zag with 5-3-5 structure. However if market will form some strong upward trend at the moment is not known at large timeframe since we are quite deviated from the big wedge patterns.

Any way, in terms of local market outlook, we have small brown symmetric triangle. GBPUSD is currenlty tickling around this top boundary of the triangle.

It is easy enough to trade when you have this clear key levels and horizontal support and resistance lines are marked.

We have projected future Wave C using our Elliott Wave Trend to 1.25900 and 1.2500 levels. With this two level together watch out the price action around the symmetric triagnle boundary.

Hope this analysis is helpful for all of you trading with GBPUSD. We don't have any harmonic patterns formed from our Harmonic Pattern Plus yet. If so, then it will be very definte level to place for trading.
