MA Yoshi Pro for MetaTrader 5
EMA Crossover Signals with Context, Confluence and a Visual Trade Plan
An EMA crossover often looks obvious after the chart has moved. In real time, it can feel very different: price crosses, momentum hesitates, and a promising entry is caught in a sideways market. After a few frustrating trades, the temptation is to add more indicators or react faster. Yet the more useful change may be simpler: slow the decision down and ask what supports the signal, where risk would sit, and whether the setup deserves attention at all.
MA Yoshi Pro is a MetaTrader 5 indicator designed around that process. It connects fast and slow exponential moving average crossovers with a seven-factor confluence assessment, an on-chart dashboard and a visual trade plan. The indicator does not place orders. It gives manual traders a structured way to assess a potential buy or sell setup while keeping the final decision in their hands.
Looking Beyond the Crossover
Seven checks contribute to its directional score: price relative to VWAP, RSI position around its midpoint, MACD direction, fast and slow EMA alignment, ADX strength together with price location versus the fast EMA, volume compared with its recent average and candle direction, and RSI from a selectable secondary timeframe.
Together, these provide a compact view of trend, momentum, participation and price location. A minimum confluence score is configurable, with four out of seven as the default. The score reflects how many technical conditions agree. It is not a probability of success, and requiring more agreement can mean fewer signals.
A signal begins with an EMA crossover and must also satisfy the selected confirmation rules. By default, signal confirmation waits for a closed bar. Colored candles and small directional markers help identify qualifying events, while separate retest highlighting draws attention to price returning toward the fast EMA. A retest candle is a point for closer examination, not an automatic instruction to enter.
During volatile or ranging conditions, crossovers can still fail. No filter eliminates that uncertainty.
From a Signal to a Plan
Once a qualifying signal forms, MA Yoshi Pro can display a reference entry, an ATR-based stop-loss level and up to five progressively spaced take-profit targets. The optional breakeven display responds when TP1 is reached, where applicable, and the on-chart plan presentation follows target and stop events as market data allows.
This makes the distance between an idea, its invalidation level and its objectives easier to examine before committing capital.
These levels are visual planning references, not broker-side orders. Actual execution, position sizing and protective orders remain entirely under the trader's control. A well-presented plan is useful precisely because it invites a risk decision before a trade, not because it promises the outcome.
The dashboard brings the surrounding evidence into one view: bull and bear scores, directional market bias, VWAP position, RSI, MACD, ADX, volume state and current plan status. The EMA ribbon and VWAP line add context on the chart.
Visual elements can be switched on or off, and traders can adjust the EMA periods, confirmation threshold, secondary RSI timeframe and ATR-based levels. Optional popup, sound and mobile notifications can announce new qualifying plans, subject to the selected settings and terminal configuration.
A Practical Routine
- Start by asking whether price is trending or moving sideways; a crossover in a range deserves extra caution.
- Check the dashboard for agreement across momentum, price location and the secondary RSI reading.
- Wait for the chosen signal confirmation, then examine the candle and surrounding price action.
- Review the displayed entry, stop-loss and targets against your own risk limit and position-sizing rules.
- Trade only when the setup fits your method; otherwise, let it pass and continue observing.
This approach suits discretionary traders who want an orderly checklist around moving average signals. It is not an automated trading robot, a prediction of exact turning points or a substitute for independent analysis.
Moving averages follow price, and choppy markets can produce repeated false starts. ATR responds to observed volatility, but it does not make a stop inherently safe. Symbol specifications, spreads and data conditions also vary, so test settings on demo and review their behavior on your intended markets and timeframes.
The useful shift is from reacting to every crossover toward evaluating a complete decision.

Trading involves risk, and no indicator guarantees a profitable result. Use independent judgment, realistic position sizing and appropriate protective orders.
