Monitor Short-Term Price Movements Across Multiple Markets
TickBurst Radar is a multi-symbol tick-movement scanner for MetaTrader 5. It monitors price changes over short, configurable intervals and places qualifying movements in a single on-chart dashboard. Instead of checking chart after chart, you can review new movement events from one workspace and open the relevant symbol directly from the table.
The scanner uses broker-provided tick data, not completed candle patterns. It measures percentage changes over six selectable windows: 1, 5, 10, 30, 60 and 300 seconds. Set your minimum movement threshold in percent, then choose which windows should be monitored. Both upward and downward movements can appear in the event feed.

Customize the workspace
Choose instruments from Market Watch, define a custom symbol list or opt into scanning the broker's wider instrument catalog, subject to a configurable cap. Filter symbol names and control quote age, spread conditions and event cooldown in the technical inputs.
The on-chart controls manage the percentage threshold, six measurement windows, market categories, sorting, pause/resume and notifications. Independent SOUND, POPUP and PUSH controls let you select the channels you want. A configurable limit helps avoid excessive alert bursts. Alerts are informational, not instructions to trade.
Your dashboard preferences and retained event feed are saved in a named local profile. When MetaTrader 5 reinitializes the indicator or restarts, saved preferences and retained events can be restored. CLEAR FEED requires a second confirmation click. Raw historical ticks are not stored in the profile and are requested again from the broker when the scanner starts.

How movements are measured
The scanner calculates the percentage difference between an eligible current tick price and an available historical tick reference for each enabled time window. Depending on the selected price source, it can use the bid/ask midpoint, bid or an available last-traded price. A minimum amount of historical tick information is needed before a window can produce a result.
Data and technical limitations
Available instruments, quote frequency, bid/ask data, spread and tick-history depth depend on the connected broker. Some symbols may have sparse or unavailable historical ticks. The PRICE UPDATES field counts observations in the scanning window; it is not an exchange trade count or monetary traded volume. Some asset-category labels are inferred from broker symbol names and paths and may require custom filtering. Very fast moves can be missed or delayed during tick synchronization or when scanning large symbol lists. Actual results and signal frequency vary by data source, configuration and terminal performance.
TickBurst Radar is an informational indicator. It does not place, modify or close trades and does not predict price direction or future returns. A detected percentage movement is not a buy or sell signal. Trading decisions and risk management remain with the user.
