THE TRADER Lot & Margin Calculator is a free MetaTrader 5 utility designed to help traders calculate position size, manage risk, and monitor margin requirements directly on the chart.

It is suitable for manual trading across forex pairs, gold, and other broker-supported instruments.

Risk Management

The default settings use 1% risk and a 10% free-margin limit. Both values can be adjusted.

Margin requirements are calculated using the broker's trading specifications.

How to Use

  1. Attach the utility to a MetaTrader 5 chart.

  2. Select BUY or SELL.

  3. Set your preferred risk percentage.

  4. Choose MARKET or PLAN mode.

  5. Adjust the stop-loss and take-profit lines.

  6. Review the calculated lot size and margin requirements.

Important: This utility is intended for trade planning and risk calculations only. It does not automatically open or close trades.
