Moving Average Options

Adaptive VAR provides an adaptive trend calculation designed to respond to changing market conditions while maintaining smoothness.

Exponential EMA gives greater weight to recent price data and provides a faster response to changes in market direction.

Wilder WWMA uses Wilder-style smoothing to provide a stable and smooth representation of the underlying trend.

Trading Signals

The indicator provides visual signals when the calculated trend conditions change.

Green Up Arrow indicates a potential bullish trend change.

Red Down Arrow indicates a potential bearish trend change.

The trend area is displayed visually on the chart, making it easier to distinguish bullish and bearish market conditions.

Settings

  • OTT Period controls the calculation period used by the indicator.
  • OTT Percent controls the OTT percentage used in the calculation.
  • Moving Average allows selection between Adaptive VAR, Exponential EMA and Wilder WWMA.

Simple Configuration
