**What it does**
Gold Regime Signal watches XAUUSD (and gold CFDs under any broker suffix) for multi-candle continuation moves and only signals when the underlying regime supports it. Most entry indicators fire on every strong-looking candle, including inside flat, choppy ranges — where a signal is the least reliable. This one checks market regime first (trend strength via ADX, directional movement, and higher-timeframe alignment) and only then looks for the candle pattern. No regime, no signal.
**How it works**
1. Detects a short sequence of strong, same-direction candles (configurable strength and count).
2. Confirms the move is happening in a trending regime, not a flat one — this is the filter that keeps the indicator quiet during range-bound sessions.
3. Draws a non-repainting arrow only on a fully closed bar, together with a structural stop-loss and a take-profit line projected from your risk/reward setting at the moment of entry. These are static reference levels, not a trailing exit — the trade is expected to be managed against them like a normal SL/TP order.
4. Keeps auditing every closed bar on every new tick and reports the running total on-chart: "Repaint checks: N · violations: 0" — the count grows live as you use it, instead of asking you to trust a one-time claim.
**On-chart panel**
Shows current regime (trending/ranging), ADX reading, H4 trend filter state, number of resolved signals with win rate and net points computed directly from your own chart history, a lot-size suggestion based on your risk percentage, and the live repaint audit counter. Everything the indicator claims, you can verify yourself on the chart it's running on.
**What makes it different**
- Silences itself in ranging markets instead of firing signals into noise — the #1 complaint we found in reviews of similar gold entry tools.
- Structural stop-loss and projected take-profit drawn automatically for every signal, sized from ATR rather than a fixed pip value.
- Every closed bar is re-checked on every tick against its original value, and the violation counter is visible on the chart in real time — not just described in the sales page.
- Optional higher-timeframe (H4) trend filter for extra selectivity.
**Inputs (all adjustable, defaults are the tested baseline)**
- Consecutive strong candles required, and how "strong" is defined (body size relative to ATR, close position within the candle range).
- Minimum trend strength (ADX) required before any signal is allowed.
- Optional H4 trend alignment filter.
- Risk/reward ratio for the projected target.
- Risk percent used only for the on-chart lot-size suggestion (informational, does not place trades).
- Alert types (pop-up / push), panel visibility, and how much history to process.
**Requirements**
- MetaTrader 5, any broker, gold symbol (XAUUSD / GOLD# / similar — auto-detects common suffixes).
- Works on M30 and H1 charts.
- Indicator only — it draws signals and sends alerts; it does not place trades.
**What this indicator does NOT do**
- It does not trade for you and does not guarantee any outcome.
- It does not predict price — it filters when a known candle pattern is statistically more likely to reflect real continuation versus noise, based on regime.
- The stop-loss and take-profit levels are drawn once, at the moment of entry, sized from ATR — they do not trail price. It is a discipline and filtering tool: fewer, regime-checked signals with a defined risk, not a high-frequency signal firehose.
