Manups Supertrend for XAUUSD

Designed for XAUUSD (Gold). Attach it to a XAUUSD 15 MINUTE chart. Other symbols can be used by adjusting the inputs, but the defaults and the examples below are written for Gold.

What it does
Manups Supertrend EA turns Supertrend trend changes into a complete trade plan. When the Supertrend flips, it takes the closing price as the entry. The stop loss is set at an ATR-based distance, and three take-profit levels are placed at 1R, 2R and 3R, all adjustable. You see the plan on the chart before anything is traded.

Two modes

• Auto Trading: Off (Plan Only). The EA draws the plan and updates the dashboards but places no orders.
• Auto Trading: On. The EA opens the planned trade with the stop loss and your Selected Target (TP1, TP2 or TP3) as its take profit.

An on-chart button switches between the two without opening the inputs.

Funded Firm Protection
Built for prop-firm and funded accounts:

• Daily loss limit and total drawdown limit (static or trailing)
• Pre-trade check that the stop-loss risk would not breach those limits
• Max risk per trade, max lot size, max open trades and max trades per day
• Stop for the day after consecutive losses
• Daily and total profit targets
• Spread filter, trading session hours and a Friday cut-off
• Optional close-all when a limit is hit
• Halts are remembered after a restart

These are starting points, not optimised or guaranteed settings. Test on a demo account or in the Strategy Tester with your own broker’s data before going live.

• Timeframe: M15 or H1
• Lot mode: Fixed 0.01, or % risk with a small value such as 0.5-1%
• Selected Target: TP1 to start, then compare TP2 and TP3
• Funded Firm Protection: On, with your firm’s daily and total limits
• Max spread: set it to suit your broker’s Gold spread and digits (2 or 3)

Important notes

• Signals are evaluated on closed candles. The trade is opened at the start of the next candle using the planned SL and TP.
• The win rate and R result on the dashboard are simplified statistics, not a full backtest. They don’t include spread, commission or slippage.
• Trading Gold carries a high level of risk. Past results do not guarantee future results. Use risk you can afford and test first.
