TS Trading Trade Manager

TS Trading Trade Manager is a trade panel for MetaTrader 5. You set your risk, draw the position on the chart, and send it with one click. The lot size is calculated for you. The panel makes no trading decisions: no signals, no automation. Nothing is sent until you press a button.

Risk-based position sizing

• Choose the risk as a percentage of the account balance, as a fixed cash amount, or as a fixed lot size.
• Stop loss and take profit as a distance in points or as an absolute price. Switching converts the values.
• Risk : Reward field; change it and the target follows.
• The lot size is calculated from the real loss between entry and stop (using the broker's own conversion), rounded down to the broker's volume step, so rounding never pushes the risk above what you set. Slippage and price gaps can still make a real loss larger than calculated.
• A sensible starting stop distance is derived from the instrument's recent candle size, so it works on forex pairs and indices alike.

Draw the trade on the chart

• Draw Long / Draw Short puts entry, stop and target on the chart with a green profit zone and a red loss zone.
• Drag any of the three lines, or the stop and target labels. Lot size, risk and ratio update live while you drag.
• The market, limit or stop order type follows from where the entry is relative to the current price.
• A Market button snaps the entry back to the current price without changing the stop and target distance.
• A play button on the chart sends the trade directly.

Prop-firm limits (rules of funded-account providers)

• Tracks your daily loss and maximum drawdown against limits you set in the inputs, and shows how much of each is already used.
• While you draw, the panel shows what the figures would become if the trade is sent and stopped out.
• If a trade would reach a limit, you get a clear warning with the number and decide whether to send it anyway.
• Each account remembers its own limits, so you can switch between accounts at different firms.
• This is an approximation and not the calculation of any firm. Always check the rules of your own provider.

Trade management

• Partial close with automatic move to break-even, break-even for the whole position, delete pending orders, close all (with a confirmation that names exactly what is affected).
• Spread warning before an order goes out when the spread is wider than usual.
• Keyboard shortcuts: B buy, S sell, Enter execute, Esc discard.

Several accounts

• A drawn setup is carried over when you log into another account in the same terminal session. The lot size is recalculated for the new account.

Review trades

• A History view draws open and closed trades in the same style, with where and when they actually closed, so you can compare plan and result.

Input parameters

• Magic Number (default 770001): identifies the orders placed by the panel.
• Max deviation, points (default 20): the largest slippage accepted on a market order.
• Confirm before every order (default true): shows a confirmation with lot size, levels and risk before each order.
• Manage own trades only, by magic (default false): when true, Partial, Break-Even, Pending and Close All only touch orders with this magic number.
• Spread warning threshold, points (default 0 = auto): above this spread you are warned before an order goes out. 0 derives a value from the instrument's recent candle size.
• Keyboard shortcuts (default true): B, S, Enter, Esc.
• Track daily loss / max drawdown limits (default true): switches the prop-firm card and its warnings on or off.
• Daily loss limit, % of initial balance (default 5.0): your provider's daily loss limit. Remembered per account.
• Max drawdown limit, % of initial balance (default 10.0): your provider's maximum drawdown. Remembered per account.
• Partial-close size, % of the position (default 50.0): the share closed by the Partial button.
• Position X and Position Y (default 20 / 20): where the panel appears on the chart.

Good to know

• Works with hedging and netting accounts and with any symbol.
• Algo trading must be allowed in MetaTrader, otherwise the panel only displays.
• The panel and its labels are in English.
