NeuroGoldNavigator — Intelligent Gold Market Analysis for MetaTrader 5
NeuroGoldNavigator is an automated trading Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that analyzes market data across multiple timeframes and uses a trainable machine learning model to evaluate potential price direction.
At its core is the AurumPulse model, which classifies market conditions into three possible states: BUY, NEUTRAL, and SELL. Before opening a position, the Expert Advisor checks the model's confidence, trading schedule, spread, distance from existing positions, maximum number of trades, and the status of the economic news filter.
Key Advantages
-
Multi-timeframe analysis. Uses data from M15, M30, H1, H4, and D1 to evaluate market conditions.
-
Machine learning. The AurumPulse model classifies market conditions and calculates the probabilities of three states: BUY, NEUTRAL, and SELL.
-
Training on historical data. When enabled, the Expert Advisor builds a training dataset from historical market data and trains the model.
-
Model quality checks. A newly trained model can be evaluated on held-out data before being accepted for use.
-
Flexible position management. Configurable Stop Loss, Take Profit, and trailing stop.
-
Trading condition controls. Limits on spread, the number of positions, and the minimum distance between entries.
-
Economic news filter. The ability to restrict new entries around selected economic events.
-
Operational diagnostics. An on-chart information panel and CSV feature export for further analysis.
How the Expert Advisor Works
-
Market data collection. The Expert Advisor analyzes closed candles on M15, M30, H1, H4, and D1.
-
Feature calculation. The model uses price changes over different periods, volatility, candlestick characteristics, price position within a range, and relationships between exponential moving averages.
-
Market evaluation. The AurumPulse model calculates the probabilities of the BUY, NEUTRAL, and SELL classes.
-
Trading condition checks. Before opening a position, the Expert Advisor checks the minimum signal confidence, trading schedule, maximum permitted spread, position limit, minimum distance between entries, and economic news filter.
-
Order execution and position management. If the signal and trading conditions satisfy the configured requirements, the Expert Advisor opens a market position and manages its protective levels.
A new trading signal is evaluated once per newly formed M15 bar. Open position management and the updating of the Expert Advisor's operational state are performed independently of how frequently new signals appear.
AurumPulse Machine Learning Model
AurumPulse uses a three-class classification model: BUY, NEUTRAL, and SELL. The model analyzes 20 features selected from a multi-timeframe dataset.
When training is enabled, the Expert Advisor can build a training dataset from historical MetaTrader 5 data, train the model, and evaluate it on held-out data. Quality checks are provided before a newly trained model is accepted for use.
Training does not guarantee improved prediction accuracy after every run. Model performance depends on the quality of historical data, market characteristics, and the selected settings.
The classification results represent the model's assessment of current market conditions, not a guarantee of future price direction.
Risk and Position Management
The Expert Advisor provides the following position management features:
-
Fixed trade volume or volume calculation based on available free margin.
-
Configurable Stop Loss and Take Profit.
-
Optional virtual Stop Loss and Take Profit.
-
Trailing stop with configurable activation threshold, distance, and step.
-
Maximum number of simultaneously open positions.
-
Maximum spread filter.
-
Minimum distance control between positions.
-
Optional reduction of trade volume as drawdown increases.
Volume management settings allow users to adapt the Expert Advisor to the conditions of their trading account. However, calculating volume based on available free margin does not provide a guaranteed limit on the potential loss of a trade.
Virtual stop levels are monitored by the program and differ from conventional stop orders placed on the broker's server. Their operation depends on terminal availability and the continued execution of the Expert Advisor.
Economic News Filter
The Expert Advisor uses the MetaTrader 5 economic calendar. Users can select a country, the minimum event importance level, and the number of minutes before and after an event during which new entries are restricted.
The filter is designed to limit the opening of new positions around selected economic events. It does not guarantee protection against sharp market movements, slippage, or spread widening.
Information Panel and Diagnostics
An on-chart information panel can display the current signal, model confidence, training status, number of open positions, protective levels, and economic news filter status.
The Expert Advisor also supports exporting model features to CSV files. This data can be used to diagnose model behavior, examine input features, and perform additional analysis.

Important Risk Disclaimer
Trading financial markets involves the risk of losing capital. The use of machine learning does not guarantee profitability or accurate prediction of future price direction.
Historical backtesting results do not guarantee similar results in the future. Actual performance depends on market conditions, spreads, commissions, slippage, liquidity, and order execution by the broker.
