TRENDALGO is an Expert Advisor (EA) that uses Artificial Intelligence for 100% automated trading. As the name suggests, it is a trend-following EA that performs well on trending assets.
AI is used to identify moments when volume, volatility, and momentum surge. This is based on a proprietary equation I developed that treats these values as objective data points, without relying on any standard indicators.
TRENDALGO opens a new trade and manages it by continuously adjusting the Stop Loss and Take Profit levels; it rides profitable trades to maximize gains and closes unprofitable ones to minimize losses.
Trading with TRENDALGO
To activate TRENDALGO, simply apply it to an asset, set the position size (lot size), and click "ON"; the strategy becomes active and waits for the first trading signal.
The signal for a new trade is simple and immediate: it opens a BUY/LONG position on the first green bar and a SHORT position on the first red bar, while gray and white bars indicate no signal—meaning the system waits.
Thus, the first colored bar represents a surge in volume and/or volatility, providing the signal that the system can choose to follow.
To close the trade, TRENDALGO sets a Stop Loss that is not visible on the chart because it is dynamically adjusted by the AI based on current volatility. This follows a proprietary equation that generally sets wider Stop Loss and Take Profit levels when volatility is rising, while leaving the trader in full control should they wish to intervene.
This algorithm can be used on any listed asset—futures, stocks, forex, commodities, crypto, bonds, or any other instrument.
SETTINGS and INPUTS
The default settings are suitable for all assets and do not need to be changed. The on-chart user interface allows you to set the lot size and toggle the strategy ON/OFF. The "CLOSE" button acts as a manual shut-down: it closes the trade and deactivates the strategy. This EA works on any asset—Forex, stock indices, stocks, commodities, or crypto—provided it is listed by your broker.
TIMEFRAME: This EA is sensitive to the timeframe selected on the chart because, at the close of each bar, it makes a decision—such as opening a new trade, waiting, adjusting Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP), or closing the trade.
NEVER CHANGE THE TIMEFRAME while a trade is open; doing so will deactivate the algorithm (switching it to OFF) and close all trades for that asset.
Simply apply it to an asset, select the timeframe and settings via the on-chart interface, and click "ON"; TRENDALGO is then activated and ready for the next trade.
Statistically, the H1 timeframe offers the best win rate across most assets, though traders are free to choose the timeframe that best suits their specific strategy.
