Risk modes
Smooth Operator FX includes multiple position-sizing modes in one Expert Advisor.
PropSafe mode calculates percentage risk from a fixed reference balance. This is intended for traders who want position sizing to remain tied to a defined starting balance rather than increasing automatically as account equity changes.
Compound mode calculates percentage risk from the current account balance. Position size can therefore adjust as the account balance changes.
A fixed-lot mode is also available for users who prefer manual lot sizing.
Trading approach
The Expert Advisor evaluates market conditions on completed M1 bars and only enters when its internal conditions are satisfied. It does not use martingale or grid position recovery.
Trade management includes a protective stop and time-based exit logic. Results can vary between brokers because of spread, execution, slippage, price feed differences and market conditions.
News protection
The EA can avoid trading around selected high-impact economic events. News filtering is intended as a risk-control feature and is not used to trade news releases.
