Whale Mean Reversion

TRADE WHALE – QFL MEAN REVERSION EA

Trade Whale QFL Mean Reversion EA is a fully automated trading system based on the QFL (Quickfingers Luc) mean-reversion concept.

The Expert Advisor identifies dynamically formed QFL base levels and searches for situations where price has moved significantly away from its recent equilibrium. The strategy is designed to take advantage of potential price reversions after extended movements.

Instead of relying exclusively on a single entry, the EA can use a configurable basket and safety-order structure. If price temporarily moves against the initial position, additional orders may be opened at predefined distances in order to improve the average entry price of the entire basket.

The objective is to close the basket when price performs a sufficient mean-reversion movement.

HOW THE STRATEGY WORKS

The EA continuously searches for confirmed QFL base levels.

When price moves sufficiently below a valid lower QFL base, the system may initiate a BUY basket.

When price moves sufficiently above a valid upper QFL base, the system may initiate a SELL basket.

The required distance from the QFL level is controlled by the Entry Deviation parameter.

If the market continues moving against the initial position, the EA may place additional safety orders according to the configured distance, volume multiplier and step multiplier.

These additional positions modify the average entry price of the basket.

As a result, the market does not necessarily need to return all the way back to the original entry price. A smaller reversal may be sufficient for the complete basket to reach its configured Take Profit target.

All basket management is performed automatically by the Expert Advisor.

SAFETY ORDER SYSTEM

The safety-order system is an important part of the strategy.

Users can configure:

• First Safety Order Lot
• Maximum Number of Safety Orders
• Safety Order Distance
• Safety Order Volume Multiplier
• Safety Order Step Multiplier

This allows the user to choose between more conservative and more aggressive configurations.

Increasing position sizes may improve the average entry price faster, but it also increases exposure and risk.

For this reason, the safety-order parameters should always be selected according to the account size and the user's personal risk tolerance.

QFL SIGNAL FILTERING

The EA does not use every price movement as a signal.

QFL bases can be filtered using:

• Volume Moving Average
• Minimum Volume / Average Volume ratio
• Maximum Base Age
• Entry Deviation
• Re-entry Cooldown

These filters are designed to reduce unnecessary entries and allow the strategy to focus on stronger QFL structures.

BASKET MANAGEMENT

All positions belonging to the same trading sequence are managed as a basket.

The EA calculates the average position price and monitors the complete basket instead of treating every position independently.

Take Profit can be calculated using the total basket volume or the original base order, depending on the selected configuration.

An optional Basket Stop Loss is also available.

The objective is to manage the complete position structure as one coordinated trade idea.

SESSION AND WEEKDAY FILTERS

The EA includes optional session and weekday filters.

Users can define:

• Trading start time
• Trading end time
• Allowed trading days

This provides additional control over when new baskets are allowed to open.

Existing positions continue to be managed automatically.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Before using the Expert Advisor on a live trading account, users are strongly encouraged to:

• Perform their own backtests
• Test the EA with their own broker
• Verify symbol specifications
• Test different market periods
• Use a demo account first
• Start with conservative lot sizes
• Carefully evaluate safety-order settings
• Monitor margin requirements
• Avoid excessive leverage
• Select risk settings appropriate for the account balance

Broker conditions can significantly affect the results.

Spread, commissions, execution speed, slippage, liquidity, contract specifications, swaps and historical price data may all cause results to differ between brokers.

IMPORTANT RISK DISCLOSURE

Trading financial markets involves substantial risk and is not suitable for every investor.

This Expert Advisor uses automated trading logic that may include position averaging and progressively sized safety orders.

During unfavorable market conditions, particularly strong and prolonged directional movements, the system may accumulate additional positions.

This can significantly increase market exposure, margin usage and drawdown.

YOU CAN LOSE PART OR ALL OF YOUR TRADING CAPITAL.

Backtest results do not guarantee future performance.

Historical profitability does not mean that the Expert Advisor will remain profitable in future market conditions.

Live trading results may differ significantly from historical backtests because of factors including, but not limited to:

• Spread
• Slippage
• Commissions
• Execution delays
• Liquidity
• Broker conditions
• Symbol specifications
• Contract size
• Tick value
• Swap charges
• Price gaps
• Market volatility
• Data quality
• Server conditions

The use of leverage can significantly increase both potential profits and potential losses.

Position averaging and safety-order strategies can produce substantial drawdowns when the market continues moving against open positions.

No Expert Advisor, algorithm, indicator or trading strategy can guarantee profits.

There is always a possibility of losing money.

The user is entirely responsible for selecting the appropriate:

• Lot size
• Leverage
• Safety-order configuration
• Maximum exposure
• Broker
• Symbol
• Trading account
• Risk level

Only trade with money that you can afford to lose.

Before using this Expert Advisor with real funds, extensive testing on historical data and a demo account is strongly recommended.

Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.

By using Trade Whale QFL Mean Reversion EA, the user acknowledges and accepts all risks associated with financial trading, including the possibility of losing the entire trading account balance.

This EA looks for a divergence signal, which occurs when the price of a financial instrument moves in the opposite direction of the RSI indicator. This divergence can signal that the current trend is losing momentum and a reversal is likely. The EA identifies two types of divergence: Bullish (Positive) Divergence : This occurs when the price makes a new lower low , but the RSI indicator fails to confirm this by making a higher low . This discrepancy suggests that bearish momentum is weakening, a
