Simple EMA-Based Market Momentum for Fast, Clear Scalping Decisions

Scalping Engine is a streamlined MT5 indicator designed to help short-term traders quickly identify bullish and bearish momentum relative to an EMA-based price structure.

The indicator provides two distinct trading modes:

Aggressive — 21 EMA

Designed for traders looking for a faster response to short-term price movement.

The 21 EMA mode reacts more quickly to changes in price and is intended for traders who prefer earlier momentum recognition and more active scalping conditions.

Conservative — 89 EMA

Designed for traders who prefer a slower, more filtered market structure.

The 89 EMA mode provides a broader reference for price movement and can help traders focus on stronger directional conditions while filtering some of the shorter-term market noise.

The two modes allow traders to adapt the same indicator to different scalping styles without changing the underlying indicator.

EMA Price-Action Structure

Scalping Engine does more than simply plot an EMA. The indicator evaluates price in relation to the high/low EMA-based price structure and uses that relationship to visually classify market momentum. Candles are automatically colored according to where price is trading relative to the active EMA structure.

This creates an immediate visual representation of whether price is:

• Trading above the bullish structure
• Trading below the bearish structure
• Trading within the structure
• Moving between bullish and bearish conditions

Instead of requiring the trader to constantly interpret multiple lines, the candle colors provide an immediate visual indication of the current price-action state.

Custom Candle Visualization

Scalping Engine includes its own candle-coloring system designed specifically around the active EMA mode. The candles can be displayed using either:

Classic Japanese Candles

The traditional OHLC candlestick presentation.

Heiken Ashi

A smoothed Heiken Ashi representation designed to make directional movement and momentum easier to visually follow.

Aggressive Mode — 21 EMA

The Aggressive setting uses a 21-period EMA structure. This mode is intended for traders who want to react more quickly to changes in short-term market momentum.

• Pullback trading
• Rapid market-condition changes

Because the 21 EMA responds more quickly to price, this mode can generate more frequent changes in market state.

Conservative Mode — 89 EMA

The Conservative setting uses an 89-period EMA structure. This mode is intended to provide a slower and broader view of price direction.

• Trend filtering
• More selective scalping
• Pullback confirmation
• Directional bias
• Reducing short-term market noise

The 89 EMA structure can help traders focus on price movement relative to a broader intraday trend rather than every short-term fluctuation.

Volume-Based Order Block Engine

Scalping Engine also includes an optional Volume-Based Order Block engine. The Order Block system uses tick-volume analysis and HMA-based calculations to identify areas associated with increased volume activity and directional volume pressure. The indicator can display estimated:

BUY % / SELL %

to provide an additional view of the relative volume characteristics surrounding an identified Order Block.

These percentages are calculated from available tick-volume information and represent an estimated volume-based pressure distribution, not actual centralized exchange bid/ask volume.

Multi-Timeframe Order Blocks

The Order Block engine can be used independently of the active chart timeframe.

Available analysis selections include:

• Current
• M5
• M15
• H1

This allows traders to combine their active scalping timeframe with broader Order Block context.

Order Block Sensitivity

The Order Block engine provides selectable sensitivity levels:

Sensitivity 1

More responsive to volume changes and identifies more potential areas.

Sensitivity 3

Balanced sensitivity for general-purpose use.

Sensitivity 5

Less sensitive and more selective, focusing on stronger volume conditions.

Filled, Broken & Active Order Blocks

The Order Block system can provide visual information for active and previously identified zones. Filled Order Blocks can be displayed as colored areas to make the zones easier to identify visually. The indicator can also display closed/broken Order Blocks, allowing traders to retain historical context rather than immediately removing every zone after it has been invalidated. This can help traders study how price interacted with previous volume-based areas.

On-Chart Control System

Scalping Engine is designed around a simple on-chart control panel. The major components can be turned ON or OFF without repeatedly opening the indicator settings. The control panel provides access to functions such as:
