NOVA Dynamic Support & Resistance is a clean, adaptive market-structure indicator for MetaTrader 4, designed to visualize dynamic support and resistance across multiple market horizons.
Instead of displaying only one fixed support and resistance calculation, the indicator continuously analyzes three different historical lookback periods. This creates three dynamic resistance levels and three dynamic support levels, allowing traders to view short-, medium- and longer-term market structure directly on the chart.
The result is a clear visual framework that adapts automatically to the selected timeframe while remaining fully configurable for traders who prefer manual control.

HOW IT WORKS
NOVA Dynamic Support & Resistance analyzes price data across three independent historical lookback periods.
Each calculation represents a different layer of market structure:
R1 / S1 — Near-term structure
The nearest dynamic resistance and support levels.
R2 / S2 — Intermediate structure
A broader view of support and resistance based on a longer historical period.
R3 / S3 — Long-term structure
The widest market-structure levels calculated from the longest lookback period.
Together, these levels provide a multi-layered view of the chart without requiring several separate indicators.
CONVERGING LEVELS
At certain moments, two or more support or resistance calculations may identify approximately the same price area.
When this happens, the lines can naturally converge or overlap.
This is intentional.
It means that multiple independent lookback periods are identifying the same area of market structure.
Even when lines overlap, the individual R1, R2, R3, S1, S2 and S3 labels remain available so the underlying levels can still be identified.
HISTORICAL PROJECTIONS
The solid sections represent the currently active dynamic levels.
The dotted sections provide historical projections of the same line structure.
This makes it possible to visually inspect how price previously behaved around the calculated support and resistance structure and provides additional context without filling the chart with unnecessary objects.
Historical projections can be enabled or disabled from the indicator settings.
MID-RANGE
The optional MID-RANGE represents the midpoint between R1 and S1.
It provides a simple visual reference for where price is currently positioned inside the nearest dynamic support/resistance range.
This can be useful when evaluating whether price is trading near support, near resistance or around the center of the current range.
AUTOMATIC TIMEFRAME ADAPTATION
With AutoSettings enabled, NOVA automatically selects predefined lookback and slope values appropriate for the active chart timeframe.
Supported automatic settings cover:
M1 • M5 • M15 • M30 • H1 • H4 • Daily • Weekly • Monthly
Changing the chart timeframe automatically adjusts the indicator calculations to the corresponding timeframe configuration.
Advanced users can disable AutoSettings and configure all three lookback periods and slope values manually.

Testing focuses on indicator calculation, chart behaviour, level visualization and practical usability across different market structures.
Testing does not represent trading performance, profitability or expected future results.
IMPORTANT — HISTORICAL CHART DATA
NOVA Dynamic Support & Resistance calculates its levels using historical price data available inside MetaTrader 4.
For the most complete and consistent calculations, make sure your broker/server has loaded sufficient and up-to-date historical chart data for the symbol and timeframe being analyzed.
This is particularly important when using longer lookback periods or higher timeframes.
Available historical data can differ between brokers and trading servers. As a result, calculated levels may also differ slightly between brokers, symbols or data feeds.
If a chart has recently been opened for the first time, or historical data is incomplete, allow MetaTrader 4 to load/update the required chart history before evaluating the indicator levels.

NOVA Dynamic Support & Resistance does not generate mandatory buy or sell instructions.
The indicator is designed to provide a visual market-structure framework that traders can integrate into their own analysis.
It can be combined with:
