TALON Gold Scalper
TALON Gold Scalper is an automated trading system designed for XAUUSD (Gold), focused on short-term market movements in Scalping mode, and on intraday trades if you choose the Intraday / Prop Firm mode. The EA operates using internal multi-timeframe analysis, independent of the chart timeframe. It is designed to capture short-term and intraday price movements with a focus on controlled risk and drawdown management. The system has been tested using tick-based historical data across multiple brokers over the past 3 years to evaluate its trading logic, execution behaviour and risk management.
Main characteristics:
- Simple setup: the EA requires only basic configuration such as risk level
- Two trading modes: Scalping (standard version) and Intraday / Prop Firm (new version) — the Prop Firm mode uses the same Stop Loss, break-even protection, a larger Take Profit and up to 3 simultaneous positions
- Each trade uses a fixed Stop Loss and dynamic Trailing Stop
- Friday protection: no new trades are opened after 18:00; from 21:00, profitable positions are closed automatically; at 22:30, all remaining positions are closed
- TALON Radar panel: a live on-chart panel showing the readiness score of each of the 9 modules, market direction, and daily statistics (trades, wins/losses, win rate, net P/L). The score represents signal readiness, not a probability of trade success
- 9 independent internal modules analyze market conditions for entry signals
- No grid or martingale techniques are used
TALON Gold Scalper uses 9 independent strategies. Some are more active, while others are extremely selective.
Module 1: Focuses on multi-timeframe trend alignment. Executes trend-continuation trades at fixed times, confirmed by directional strength indicators.
Module 2: A pure scalping strategy designed to capture sudden bursts of volatility. Secures profits quickly using a tight trailing stop.
Module 3: Trades price imbalances left behind by institutional activity.
Module 4: Exploits repetitive hourly patterns with strict spread and volatility filters for additional protection.
Module 5: A mean reversion / pullback strategy activated during controlled market conditions.
Module 6: Identifies and captures micro-level trend reversals on specific intraday sessions.
Module 7: Analyzes 5 charts simultaneously (H4 to M5). Positions open only when trend direction is aligned across all 5 timeframes.
Module 8: Pattern-based strategy detecting specific candlestick formations confirmed by multi-timeframe trend filters.
Module 9: Detects strong momentum candles breaking key levels, entering on controlled retracement for a controlled risk/reward setup.

I've been running TALON Gold Scalper on MT5 for gold trading, and it's quickly become my favorite EA. What stood out to me first was the risk approach — no grid, no martingale, just fixed stop-losses with a trailing stop and break-even protection, which gave me confidence it wasn't going to blow up my account chasing losses. The nine-module system is what really impressed me. It doesn't just repeat one strategy over and over — it shifts between trend, volatility, and pullback setups depending on what the market's doing, and the Radar panel lets me actually see what each module is thinking instead of trading blind. The daily profit target and drawdown protection is the best I have ever use on an EA. Setup was easy too — I didn't need to spend hours tweaking parameters to get it running well.
