Overview

NORA NEWS SHIELD is a professional risk management tool that automatically protects your trading during high-impact economic news releases. It monitors major global currencies and temporarily suspends trading activity during critical market-moving events, helping you avoid sudden volatility spikes and potential losses.

How It Works

The system continuously scans the economic calendar for upcoming high-impact news events. When a monitored event is detected, the protection activates automatically, blocking all new trade entries for 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the scheduled release time.

If you enable the Master Protection mode, the system will also automatically close any positions that were opened during an active protection window. This ensures that trades entered during volatile periods are exited promptly.

Currency Coverage

You have full control over which currencies to monitor:

• United States Dollar (USD): Monitors high-impact events, medium-impact events, Federal Reserve speeches, FOMC meetings, and testimony sessions

• Euro (EUR): Monitors high-impact events and European Central Bank speeches

• British Pound (GBP): Monitors high-impact events and Bank of England speeches

• Japanese Yen (JPY): Monitors high-impact events and Bank of Japan speeches

• Chinese Yuan (CNY): Monitors high-impact events and People's Bank of China speeches

Each currency can be toggled on or off independently, allowing you to customize protection based on your trading pairs.

Visual Interface

The system displays a clean, dark-themed information panel on your chart showing:

• Current protection status (Active/Inactive/Blocked)

• Countdown timer to the next monitored event

• Name and currency of the upcoming news release

• Country flag and scheduled event time

• Active block status with time remaining

The panel is fully interactive - simply click the button to enable or disable the protection system at any time.

Protection Modes

Master Protection Enabled

• System actively monitors all selected currency events

• Trading is blocked 30 minutes before and after each monitored event

• Positions opened during block periods are automatically closed

• Visual alerts and sound notifications are triggered

Master Protection Disabled

• System continues to display calendar information

• No trading restrictions are applied

• No automatic position closing occurs

• Panel remains visible for reference only

Installation and Usage
