What RiskCompass Guard does

• Three independent daily-loss thresholds: warn (colors only), block new entries at 70% of the daily cap, and auto-flatten at 90% of the daily cap. Auto-flatten is OFF by default — enable it deliberately.
• Total loss cap on start balance — account protection across the whole equity.
• Magic-filtered close: it never touches another EA's or a human's trades. Verified two ways in tester runs: the own-magic position was closed while a foreign magic 111 position survived to end of day.
• Weekend close EA behavior with one bounded close attempt per session, plus a warning input comment if the broker session ends before the configured hour.
• GlobalVariable entry block and an on-chart status label, so the guard state is visible at a glance.

• Guard exercised on the shipped binary in 3 tester runs: auto-flatten closed exactly the own-magic position (foreign magic 111 survived); new-entry blocking triggered at 3.02% day loss; weekend close fired at the configured hour; an after-hours close was refused once with a single bounded log line
• Defect found and fixed during testing: the default weekend hour could never fire on Exness gold session times — fixed with one bounded attempt per Friday and an input comment warning

Honest status

Honest status: this is a utility bundle, not a strategy — the Panel never opens, modifies or closes trades and the Guard opens nothing. The shipped tester report (1 month XAUUSD M5, 96% history quality) shows 0 trades BY DESIGN, so profit factor, win rate and drawdown figures are undefined and none are claimed. No prop-firm certification exists or is claimed: the loss-cap logic implements the common daily + total loss shape and is not a statement about any specific firm's contract.

Limits you should know

• This is a risk guard and trade management EA, not a strategy — it has no entry logic and opens nothing.
• Auto-flatten defaults to OFF; turn it on only if you want positions closed at the 90% threshold.
• The news filter reads the MT5 economic calendar; when calendar data cannot be read it reports "clear" — missing data is not the same as no news.
• The equity high is sampled on each panel refresh, so it reads slightly longer than a tick-level tracker.
