SmartTrader Portfolio Risk Manager

SmartTrader Portfolio Risk Manager answers a question most traders never actually check: is your "diversified" portfolio genuinely diversified, or are several of your open positions secretly the same correlated bet wearing different symbol names?

What it shows

  • Portfolio-level drawdown - the same peak-equity/drawdown formula validated in SmartTrader AI Pro's EA circuit breaker, applied to your whole account
  • Every open position, aggregated by symbol and direction, with real dollar risk calculated from your broker's actual tick value - and a clear "No SL!" flag for anything without a stop loss, since that carries unmeasured, unlimited risk
  • Real Pearson correlation between every pair of your open positions, computed from actual historical returns - not a static, hardcoded correlation table
  • A single Concentration Score (0-100) summarizing how much of your risk is genuinely stacked versus spread out

The part that goes further than just reporting

Two buttons let you preview a potential new trade on the current chart's symbol - proposed Entry, Stop Loss, and Take Profit using the same ATR-based approach validated in SmartTrader AI Pro, plus a live preview of what your Concentration Score would become if you actually opened it. You see the correlation impact before committing to the trade, not after.

What it correctly distinguishes: stacking versus hedging

Two positions on positively correlated symbols, same direction, compound your risk - a common adverse move hurts both. The same two symbols in opposite directions, or negatively correlated symbols in the same direction, actually hedge each other. Most portfolio tools don't make this distinction at all; this one does, using real computed correlation rather than an assumption.

What it doesn't do

This is a monitoring and analysis tool. It does not place, modify, or close any trade - every number here is for you to act on yourself, in your own platform, on your own terms.
