Risk & Safety
Every position is opened with predefined Stop Loss and Take Profit levels already in place.
Optional Partial Close functionality is available.
Balance protection
Max Daily Loss => daily protection mechanism that stops trading once the configured loss limit is reached.
Total drawdown => protection calculated from the highest balance / equity peak.
Filters & Trade Control
News Filter => 2 integrated news calendar sources with upcoming events displayed directly on the chart.
Spread Filter => prevents entries when spread exceeds the defined threshold.
Max Trade Holding Time => automatically closes positions that remain open longer than the configured duration.
Settings
Stop Loss and Take Profit are configured in points. Unlike many other EAs, modifying SL and TP values may affect the number of trades. Setups that do not match current market conditions will be ignored.
Magic Number => unique identifier assigned to the EA. Use different Magic Numbers when running multiple instances on the same symbol.
Markets & Accounts
Primarily designed and optimized for ForEx pairs, while also supporting Metals, Indexes, and Crypto (depending on broker and symbol specifications).
Compatible with both Hedging and Netting account types.
Modest leverage requirements => operates even with 1:30 leverage (recommended 1:100).
Recommended Pairs
ApexBot is built with major ForEx currency pairs in mind. EURUSD, GBPUSD, and EURJPY are among my preferred choices, although other pairs can also be tested.
Broker and Leverage
ApexBot is not particularly sensitive to broker selection, so you may use any trusted broker. Lower spreads will generally provide better trading conditions.
Recommended leverage is 1:100, although 1:30 can also be used.
VPS
ApexBot works with both the MQL5 VPS service and standard VPS solutions that provide desktop access.
What to Expect
Typically 5-20 trades per week per pair, depending on market activity and selected settings.
This is not a "get rich quick" product.
Losses are a natural part of trading and should be expected alongside winning trades.
