What Makes This Indicator Different
Most support and resistance indicators only look at one timeframe. Price breaks a level on M15, you get an alert. But on H4, that same level might be mid-range - not significant at all.
MTF Liquidity Radar solves this by analyzing fractals from M15, H1, H4, and D1 simultaneously. When multiple timeframes agree on a price level, you get a high-probability zone. When they don't, you ignore it.
The Problem This Solves
You have likely experienced this: price breaks a resistance level, you enter long, and immediately reverses. The level you saw was only significant on one timeframe. On higher timeframes, it was nothing.
This indicator filters out those false signals automatically.
How It Works
Fractals are natural turning points in price. The indicator collects fractals from your chosen timeframes, merges nearby levels, and calculates a strength percentage based on:
-
How many timeframes confirm the level
-
How many times price has touched the level
-
How recently the level was formed
The result is a clear visual of which zones actually matter.
Zone Strength Classification
Each zone displays its strength rating on the chart:
WEAK - Single timeframe, few touches. Wait for confirmation.
MED - Two timeframes or moderate touches. Worth watching.
STRONG - Three timeframes or many touches. High probability.
CONF - Confluence of three or more timeframes. Institutional level.
INST - Four timeframe alignment with 90%+ strength. Major level.
Smart Money Concepts Built In
The indicator automatically detects and labels three key SMC patterns:
Break of Structure (BOS) - Price breaks a fractal high or low, confirming trend continuation. Shown in green.
Change of Character (CHoCH) - Price breaks structure then reverses, signaling potential trend change. Shown in purple.
Liquidity Sweep - Price briefly exceeds a fractal level then reverses, indicating stop hunts. Shown in orange.
These are plotted directly on the chart at the bar where they occur.
Confluence Detection
When three or more timeframes align on a price level, the zone is automatically highlighted as a confluence zone. The dashboard shows real-time confluence strength so you know exactly when multiple timeframes are lining up.
Information Dashboard
The built-in dashboard shows everything you need at a glance:
Timeframe Trend Bias - For each selected timeframe, the dashboard shows whether price is above or below its nearest support and resistance. This tells you if each timeframe is bullish or bearish right now.
Nearest Levels - Shows the closest support and resistance levels with distance in pips. Helps with stop placement and profit targets.
Confluence Meter - Displays current confluence strength as Strong, Active, or Normal based on how many confluence zones are active.
Zone Counter - Total active zones on the chart.
Current ATR - Helps you set appropriate stop loss distances.
SMC Event Counter - Running tally of BOS, CHoCH, and sweep events detected.
Visual Display
Zones are drawn as semi-transparent rectangles with dotted center lines. Each zone includes:
-
Timeframe composition (example: M15+H1+H4)
-
Strength percentage
-
Tier label (WEAK, MED, STRONG, CONF, INST)
-
Sweep marker when liquidity is swept through the zone
Colors change based on zone strength so you can quickly identify the most important levels.
Alert System
The indicator can alert you when:
Price touches a support or resistance zone - You get the zone level, timeframe composition, and strength rating.
A liquidity sweep occurs - You see the exact price level where the sweep happened.
Confluence zone is touched - Special alert for high-probability levels.
All alerts include the zone tier so you know signal quality immediately. Alerts appear in the Experts tab, can send push notifications to your phone, and can send emails.
Input Parameters Explained
Timeframes Section
TF1 to TF4 - Select which timeframes to analyze. Default is M15, H1, H4, D1. You can use any timeframe combination.
Zone Settings Section
Zone ATR Multiplier - Controls zone width. Larger values create wider zones. Default 0.5 works for most markets.
ATR Period - Standard 14 period works well. Increase for wider zones on higher timeframes.
Extend Zones - When enabled, zones draw to the right edge of the chart. Disable for a cleaner look.
Show Weak Zones - Toggle to hide low-strength zones and reduce chart clutter.
Max Zones - Limits total zones displayed for performance.
Zone Alpha - Controls transparency of zone rectangles.
Strength Settings Section
Min Touches - Zones with fewer touches than this are ignored. Default 1.
Confluence Window - Nearby zones within this distance are merged. Adjust if zones overlap too much.
Show Strength Label - Displays strength percentage on each zone.
Show Confluence - Highlights confluence zones with a special color.
SMC Settings Section
Show BOS, Show CHoCH, Show Liquidity Sweep - Toggle each pattern type on or off.
Dashboard Settings Section
Show Dashboard - Master dashboard toggle.
Dashboard Corner - Choose position on chart.
Dashboard X/Y Offset - Fine-tune dashboard position.
Alert Settings Section
Enable Alerts - Master alert switch. Turn off to run silently.
Alert on Zone Touch - Notify when price enters a zone.
Alert on Sweep - Notify when a sweep event is detected.
Practical Trading Applications
Trend Following
When all timeframes show bullish bias and price breaks a STRONG or INST resistance, take the breakout. The higher timeframe confirmation filters out false breaks.
Mean Reversion
When price reaches a confluence zone with multiple timeframe alignment, look for reversal signals. The zone has institutional significance.
Stop Loss Placement
Place stops beyond the nearest support or resistance level shown on the dashboard. The dashboard tells you exactly how many pips away that level is.
Take Profit Targeting
Set profit targets at the next support or resistance level in the direction of your trade.
Liquidity Hunting
When you see a sweep marker on the chart, look for immediate reversals. Sweeps often indicate stops were taken before price moves in the opposite direction.
Installation and Setup
Copy the indicator file to your MT5 Indicators folder. Attach to any chart. The indicator will automatically start drawing zones based on your input settings.
The indicator works on any symbol including:
-
Forex (EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, etc.)
-
Indices (S&P500, NAS100, DAX, etc.)
-
Commodities (Gold, Silver, Oil, etc.)
-
Cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.)
No additional files or DLLs are required.
Performance Considerations
The indicator only recalculates on new bars, not on every tick. This means zero performance impact during live trading. Backtests run quickly even over years of data.
Who This Indicator Is For
Day traders who need to know which levels actually matter across multiple timeframes.
Swing traders who want to see where institutions are likely placing orders.
Price action traders who want SMC confirmation on their support and resistance levels.
Anyone tired of drawing support and resistance lines manually across multiple charts.
