QuantumWave MT5 is a disciplined, Bollinger-guided Expert Advisor with optional layered add-on entries and strict risk controls.

  • Session control: Day-of-week filters and optional Friday freeze/close windows.

 

Built-in risk discipline (Market-friendly)

  • Spread filter before entries (and optionally before exits).
  • Volume normalization to SYMBOL_VOLUME_MIN/MAX/STEP.
  • Margin check with OrderCalcMargin before sending.
  • Stops-distance guard vs SYMBOL_TRADE_STOPS_LEVEL and freeze-level checks before modify.
  • Netting & hedging compatible; manages only its own Magic Number.
  • No DLLs, no WebRequest, no external files. Clean handle management in/out of Strategy Tester.

 

 

Inputs (high level)

  • Signals: BB period/deviation, close vs intrabar.
  • Exposure: Allow Buy/Sell, one-sided mode (blocks opposite side while a side is open).
  • Layered add-ons: Distance in points or ATR × multiplier, with one-trade-per-bar control.
  • Stops/Targets: SL/TP in points; optional different TP for the very first trade.
  • Trailing: Average trailing stop & step (tightens only).
  • Filters: Max spread, day-of-week, Friday freeze/close options.
  • Money management: Fixed lots or %-risk sizing (with lot caps).
  • Tester metric: OnTester returns net profit for optimization.

 

Quick start

  1. Attach to any symbol / any timeframe (e.g., M5–M30 for liquid FX; H1–H4 for metals/indices).
  2. Start with defaults; then use Strategy Tester + forward demo to tune:
    • BB sensitivity: Period 20 / Deviation 2.0 (solid baseline)
    • Add-on spacing: 50–150 points or ATR × 2.0
    • SL/TP: Ensure your broker’s stop/freeze distances are satisfied
  3. Enable average trailing if you prefer to harvest partial trends.
  4. Turn on one-sided mode for directional exposure only.

Important: Results depend on symbol, timeframe, broker conditions, and risk settings. Please test to determine what works best for your needs.
