FX Volume @ GBPUSD

After a 4 week period of decreasing SELL pressure, the downtrend has finally ended yesterday.

Yesterday was the first day where the BUY volume became bigger than the SELL volume
since their last switch and the beginning of the downtrend on the 9th May 2019.

We expect a volatile sideways movement during the ongoing discussion around the Brexit.

As we can clearly see, the uptrend has ended but the volume didn't confirm a stable downtrend.

For the moment we expect a ranging movement and keep you posted if the underlying sentiment changes.

The uptrend has clearly ended due to the fact that the institutional BUY volume dropped during the last 12 hours.

We see a new SELL trend at USDCHF and we'll see tomorrow if the SELL volume increases to stabilize this trend.
