Daily and Previous Day Levels draws the reference levels intraday traders check every morning: the previous day's high, low and close, today's open, today's running high and low, and the previous week's high and low.
How it works
- Values come straight from the symbol's own D1 and W1 bars, so the day follows your broker's server day.
- Each day gets its own line segment, from the day's first bar to its last. Past days stay readable and old lines never shift. You choose how many days to keep (5 by default).
- Today's levels carry a small label with the price, placed to the right of the last bar so it does not cover the candles.
- A panel lists every level, its price and the distance from the current price (positive when the level is above price).
- Today's high and low update with every tick. The previous-day and previous-week levels change only when a new day or week begins.
Inputs
- Levels: previous day high/low, previous day close, today's open, today's high/low, previous week high/low, each with its own colour and switch.
- Display: days of history, line style and width, labels and their offset, panel and its corner.
Limits
- Lines are drawn on intraday timeframes. On D1 and above the panel still shows the values, with a note to switch to an intraday chart for the lines.
- The trading day is the broker's server day, which can differ from your local midnight.
- If D1 or W1 history is not loaded yet, the indicator waits and draws on the next tick.
The indicator only draws levels. It does not trade or give signals.
