Meridian Sessions Killzones Initial Balance ADR

Trading sessions set in each city's own clock, with daylight saving handled for you, and each session measured against the average daily range (ADR).
With Meridian Sessions you enter London, New York, Tokyo and Sydney in their own city time. The indicator converts them to your broker's clock day by day, including the weeks when Europe, the United States and Australia change their clocks on different dates. For each session the panel tells you how big its range is, what share of the ADR it used and how long until it opens or closes.
Main features
1. City time, automatic daylight saving. Sessions are entered in local city time and killzones in New York time. On live charts the broker offset is measured from the server clock; you choose the broker's daylight saving rule, and a manual mode is available too. The panel shows the server clock, the offset and the rule in use.
2. Each session against the ADR. Session rows and box labels show the range of the session and the share of the ADR it used. As an option, the panel also shows each session's range as a percentage of its own recent average.
3. Killzones. London, New York AM and New York PM killzones, in New York time and editable. They are drawn as dotted boxes on charts up to H1, and the panel shows the active killzone with its time left, or the next one.
4. Initial balance (IB). The high and low of the first part of the session you choose, drawn as a dashed box, with optional x1.5 and x2 extension lines. The panel shows whether the IB has been broken.
5. Daily levels in one place. ADR top and bottom lines, previous day high, low and close (labelled PDH, PDL and PDC), the Asian range with its first break, the open, high and low of the live higher timeframe (HTF) candle, and optional day separators.
6. Weekends and closed markets. A session with no prices on the symbol, for example on a weekend or holiday, is not drawn. When the market is closed, each session row says "market closed" followed by the time until the session next opens, if it trades on that symbol. Countdowns follow the trading hours of the symbol, so they skip the weekend.
7. Clear units. Forex in pips (0.0001, or 0.01 on yen pairs), gold with a pip of 0.10, silver with a pip of 0.01, and indices, crypto and other CFDs in points ("pts", 1.0 of price). The unit in use is shown in the Units row of the panel.
8. Panel and chart. Server clock, one row per session, ADR with the share used today and the initial balance with its state; on a tall enough chart also killzones, previous day levels, Asian range, bar timer and units. Every row and every drawing has a tooltip in plain words. Colours adapt to light and dark charts and can also be set by hand. The minimize button hides the panel and all drawings, leaving a small tab, and the choice is remembered for that chart.
9. Alerts. A session open, a set number of minutes before an open, an IB breakout, an Asian range breakout, the day's range or a session's range reaching the ADR, and a break of the last finished session high or low. Each alert is sent once per event, and conditions already true when the indicator loads are not alerted. Popup, sound, push notification and e-mail.
Inputs
Each session, the killzones, the chart lines, the labels and every alert can be switched on or off. Session and killzone hours, broker clock, box style, history depth, IB session and length, colours and panel position are adjustable. Invalid values are refused at start, each with one clear message in the Experts log.
For expert advisor developers (hidden buffers)
Buffers 0 to 7: high and low of Sydney (0, 1), Tokyo (2, 3), London (4, 5) and New York (6, 7). On each bar inside a session window of the drawn days the value is the session high or low so far; outside the window it is empty (EMPTY_VALUE).
Buffer 8: ADR in price, on each bar of the drawn days.
Buffers 9 and 10: IB high and low, from the end of the IB to the end of its session.
Any symbol and timeframe with enough history: forex, gold, silver, indices and crypto. Session boxes are drawn on intraday charts.
Display and alerts only. It does not trade, uses no DLL and no web requests. In the Strategy Tester the panel refreshes on each new bar, the broker clock uses the manual values, popup alerts are written to the journal, and a small TESTER DEMO tag is shown.
Session times are a reference tool. They do not predict price, and no indicator guarantees results.
