Meet KangoRobot: an automated, gold trading Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. Inspired by the speed and precision of a boxing kangaroo, KangoRobot looks for key price levels and enters long positions or short positions when its programmed trading conditions are met. It can be attached to a chart on any timeframe -its internal entry rules determine when it trades.

How KangoRobot works

Getting started and broker considerations
Install KangoRobot on MetaTrader 5, attach it to an XAUUSD chart on your preferred timeframe, and configure lot size, stop loss/take profit, trading hours and loss limits for your account. Test your settings on a demo account before using real capital. Check that your broker supports XAUUSD and the account mode required for the hedging functionality you intend to use. The downloadable demo version is a very low risk setting. It can be adjusted to lower risk level if needed.
Frequently asked questions
What broker dou you recommend? I do not have a partner broker. Every broker works, it is up to you. My recommendation is an ECN or Market maker broker.
What is the optimal starting balance? Depends on the broker leverage. But I recommend min. 1500 USD/EUR. This can vary if you have high leverage. Optimal is 3000 USD/EUR. US users can use it too. Feel free
Which market does it trade? KangoRobot is designed for XAUUSD (gold) on MetaTrader 5.
Which timeframe should I use? You can attach KangoRobot to a chart on any timeframe. Follow the included recommended settings when configuring it. Smaller timeframe gives higher frequency trading and higher timeframes give slower trades.
What trades it places? It can be adjusted by the user. Both sell and buy trades can be enabled. Hedging functionality may be used to manage positions, depending on its configuration and the account mode. The default setup is for a buy-only strategy. If you need a unique setfile, contact me.
Can I customize its settings? Yes. Every setting is adjustable.
Does it trade automatically? Yes. Once configured and enabled on MT5, it monitors conditions, places eligible trades and manages positions according to its programmed rules.
Can I use any MT5 broker? Broker support for XAUUSD is required, and account mode, symbol specifications and execution conditions should be checked. Compatibility and results are not identical across brokers. The robot is configured for different Gold symbol variants. If not working, contact me.
Will it guarantee profits? No. Losing trades and drawdowns can occur, and historical testing cannot predict future results.
VPS? VPS is highly recommended but not a must. It is compatible with the MQL VPS system.
Account leverage? It can be used with account leverage from 1:10 to 1:500. I am using a 1:30 account for better risk control but the higher, the better. You need a good risk management.

KangoRobot is not a guaranteed-income system. Leveraged trading in gold can lead to substantial losses, including rapid drawdowns.
