Automated Level-Based Trading for MetaTrader 5
Smart Algo EA is a fully automated Expert Advisor designed for systematic trading and automated trade management.
The EA identifies important price levels and uses pending breakout orders to participate when price moves through those levels. Once a position is active, Smart Algo manages the trade automatically using break-even protection and dynamic price-based trailing stop management.
Smart Algo EA also uses equity-based position sizing, allowing the trading volume to adjust according to predefined account-equity levels.

Smart Algo EA is designed for LOW-SPREAD trading conditions.
For proper operation and to help reduce trading costs, a broker/account offering the following conditions is strongly recommended:
- RAW ECN account
- ZERO-SPREAD or near-zero-spread account
- Low and stable XAUUSD spreads
- Competitive commission
- Fast and reliable order execution
- Good liquidity
HIGH-SPREAD ACCOUNTS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED.
The EA includes an internal spread protection mechanism and will avoid opening new trades when the current spread is above its permitted threshold.
Broker conditions can have a significant effect on actual trading results. Spread, commission, slippage, execution speed and liquidity may all affect performance.

HOW SMART ALGO EA WORKS
Smart Algo EA uses an internal level-based algorithm to identify relevant market price levels.
The system places pending orders around identified levels rather than relying on manual market execution.
When price reaches an active trading level, the corresponding pending order can be triggered.
The EA then manages the position automatically according to its internal trade-management rules.
The core strategy parameters are built into the algorithm and are not exposed as user-editable settings.
AUTOMATED TRADE MANAGEMENT
Once a position is opened, Smart Algo EA continuously monitors the current market price.
The trade-management system can:
- Protect the position by moving the stop toward break-even after the required price movement.
- Dynamically trail the stop as the trade moves in the favorable direction.
- Maintain the configured take-profit level.
- Modify the stop loss according to live market-price movement.
The trailing mechanism is price-based and dynamic rather than waiting for a candle to close.
This allows the stop-loss management to respond to changing market prices in real time.
EQUITY-BASED POSITION SIZING
Smart Algo EA includes a structured equity-based lot-sizing system.
Instead of simply increasing the lot size after every profitable trade, the EA determines the trading volume according to predefined account-equity levels.
As account equity changes, the calculated position size can change accordingly.
The EA also checks broker volume limits and available free margin before placing trades.
This provides a structured approach to position sizing as account equity changes.

- Enable/Disable Time Filter
- Dead Zone Start Time
- Dead Zone End Time
The Dead Zone times are based on broker/server time.
Core strategy parameters remain internally controlled by the algorithm.
⚠️ ACCOUNT REQUIREMENT
HEDGING ACCOUNT REQUIRED
Smart Algo EA requires a MetaTrader 5 HEDGING account.
The EA will not initialize on unsupported Netting or Exchange account types.
Please confirm with your broker that your MT5 account is configured as a Hedging account before purchasing.
SUPPORTED TRADING CONDITIONS
- Designed primarily for XAUUSD trading
- Internal market analysis timeframe: M5
- Low-spread trading environment recommended
- Raw ECN / Zero Spread / near-zero-spread account recommended

WHY LOW SPREAD MATTERS
Smart Algo EA can generate a significant number of trading operations over time.
Because trading costs such as spread and commission are applied to transactions, execution costs can have a meaningful effect on overall results.
For this reason, traders should use a broker offering competitive trading costs and reliable execution.
A Raw ECN, Zero Spread or other low-spread account is strongly recommended.
VPS RECOMMENDATION
For continuous automated operation, a VPS is recommended.
A VPS can help keep MetaTrader 5 and Smart Algo EA running continuously even when the user's personal computer is switched off.
Choose a VPS with a stable internet connection and low latency to your broker's trading server.
