Trading Statistics Dashboard — Day / Week / Month / Year P&L, Drawdown & Session Timeline
A clean, real-time statistics panel for MetaTrader 5 that gives you a complete overview of your account performance without opening the Account History tab. Runs in its own indicator sub-window (does not overlay your chart), split into two side-by-side panels: a Day/Week/Month/Year performance table and a live account/position summary.
Key Features
Performance Table (Today / Yesterday / N past days / Week / Month / Year)
- Profit, Gain %, Drawdown and Lot volume for each period
- Gain % calculated against the real account balance at the start of each period (reconstructed from deal history, not estimated)
- Drawdown per day is tracked live, tick-by-tick (peak equity minus lowest equity reached that day) — not just closed-trade P/L
- Configurable number of history rows, optional weekend rows
Live Account & Position Summary
- Total / Sell / Buy: open position count, lot size, floating profit and pips
- Max Drawdown (all-time) with the exact date/time it occurred, Daily Max Drawdown, and Current Drawdown
- Leverage, Spread (auto pip-normalized for both Forex and Gold/XAU symbols), Margin, Balance, Free Margin, Equity
- All-time Deposit and Withdrawal totals, Commission and Swap totals — pulled directly from account history
- Currency symbol automatically matches the account's actual currency (USD, cents, or any other)
Trading Session Timeline
- Visual 24-hour GMT timeline showing the Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York sessions as colored bars
- Live white marker showing the current time position across all four sessions
- Countdown to the next broker-side trading session close and reopen (real server session data, not hardcoded)
Per-Account Drawdown History
- Daily max-drawdown values are persisted to a CSV file named after the account login number, so switching accounts never mixes up drawdown history
- Automatically reloads the correct history when re-attached to the same account
- Optional automatic pruning of old CSV rows after a configurable number of days
Customization
- Dark and Light color themes (also repaints the whole chart's color scheme and disables the grid/trade-history markers for a cleaner look)
- Swap the two panels left/right
- Optionally filter all statistics to the current chart's symbol only, instead of the whole account
- Adjustable font sizes, panel position/width, and refresh intervals
Performance
The indicator is built to stay light even on accounts with thousands of historical trades:
- All account-history scans are batched into a single pass per refresh cycle instead of one scan per data point
- Heavy recalculations are skipped automatically whenever nothing has changed since the last refresh (no new closed deals, same day)
- The session timeline's moving marker and its underlying session lookup are cached and only updated a few times per day / every few minutes, not every tick
Notes
- Deposit/Withdrawal, Balance, Max Drawdown and Current Drawdown are always account-wide (they cannot be meaningfully isolated to a single symbol); the symbol filter only applies to Profit/Lot/Total-Sell-Buy/Commission/Swap figures.
- The Sydney/Tokyo/London/New York session hours are conventional GMT approximations; exact real-world session times shift by up to ±1 hour during Daylight Saving Time transitions.
- Drawdown time-of-day is only precise from the point this version starts recording it; rows saved by earlier versions (or restored after a terminal restart before a new drawdown peak occurs) show 00:00:00 as a placeholder.
- Automatic sub-window height adjustment relies on an MQL5 chart property that MetaTrader does not officially guarantee for indicator sub-windows; if it has no effect on your terminal build, resize the sub-window once manually.
