SJ Golden EA  is a fully automated multi-module Expert Advisor built for XAUUSD (Gold). Instead of relying on a single signal, it runs several independent trading modules side by side, each with its own entries, exits and position tracking, all protected by multiple layers of risk control. The result is a disciplined, rules-driven approach to trading Gold around the clock, with you in full control of exposure.

KEY FEATURES

1. One-Click Risk Preset System

Choose Low, Medium or High and the EA applies a matched internal configuration of trading modules and position sizing. Beginners can go live without touching anything else, while experienced traders can fine-tune lot sizing, protection and filters.

- Low: most selective, reduced set of modules, lowest overall exposure

- Medium: balanced default, all modules active with a moderated lot rate

- High: all modules active with the most assertive lot rate

2. Flexible Lot Sizing & Money Management

- Automatic: lot size scales with account balance (0.01 lot per $500 on Low/High, 0.01 lot per $600 on Medium)

- Fixed Lot: constant size regardless of balance (default 0.01)

- Fixed per Balance: 0.01 lot per configurable balance unit (default $500)

Every lot is normalised to your broker's minimum, maximum and step, checked against free margin, and kept within the broker's aggregate volume limit before any order is sent.

3. Controlled Position Management (No Martingale)

Each module may add positions during a trading cycle, but every additional position uses the SAME lot size as the first entry. Lots are never multiplied after a loss. A hard cap on the maximum number of orders per cycle (default 7) limits total exposure, and exits are managed automatically by the EA.

4. Multi-Layer Account Protection

- Drawdown Protection: percentage-of-balance or fixed-money threshold (default 30%), with three reactions: close and continue, close and remove the EA, or alert only

- Daily Profit Target: lock in a good day, close all EA trades and pause until the next day

- Daily Loss Limit: stop a bad day, close all EA trades and pause until the next day

5. Live Economic News Filter

Connects to a live economic calendar and pauses new entries around major releases:

- Blocks new trades a configurable number of minutes before events (default 15 min)

- Resumes trading a configurable number of minutes after (default 15 min)

- Filter by impact level (High / Medium / Low) and by keyword (NFP, CPI, FOMC, GDP, PCE, PMI, ISM, JOLTS, Retail Sales and more)

- Monitors chosen currencies (default USD)

- Calendar auto-refreshes every N hours (default 12)

- Draws vertical lines on the chart for each upcoming event

6. Built-In Calendar Safeguards

No new entries on Non-Farm Payrolls Friday, on FOMC decision days, or on a curated list of historically high-volatility dates. These safeguards work in live trading and in the Strategy Tester.

7. Friday Close & Direction Control

- Stops new entries after a configurable hour on Friday (default 22:00 server time) to reduce weekend-gap risk

- Trading direction: Buy Only, Sell Only, or Both Directions

8. Spread, Slippage & Session Protection

- Max Spread (default 100 points): skips entries when the spread widens

- Max Slippage (default 50 points): limits price deviation on fills

- Session check: avoids sending orders during broker maintenance breaks and market closures

9. Professional On-Chart Panel

Live dashboard showing balance, equity, floating P/L, open positions, drawdown status, daily P/L (with LOCKED indicator), news filter status and a countdown to the next event. Includes a one-click CLOSE ALL POSITIONS button for instant emergency exit. The panel can be hidden for a clean chart.

10. Hedging & Netting Support

Designed for hedging accounts, where each module trades independently. On netting accounts the EA automatically adapts so modules share one position instead of stacking volume.

BACKTESTING

Run on XAUUSD M15 with default settings using "Every tick based on real ticks" and your broker's own data. All three risk presets can be tested independently to compare Low, Medium and High.
