ANDROMEDA is a portfolio-style Expert Advisor built specifically for XAUUSD (Gold). Its trading logic is designed around the behavior typical of Gold: range-bound periods, sharp intraday moves, and session-based volatility shifts.
Instead of relying on a single entry signal, ANDROMEDA runs a portfolio of 4 independent trading systems (ORION, ATLAS, LYRA & COSMOS)  in parallel, each analyzing the market from a different angle, some react to short-term one-way conditions, others follow range or trend behavior on higher timeframes, and one component is built around Bill Williams price-action tools (Alligator, Awesome Oscillator, fractals). To keep configuration simple, these systems are grouped into four portfolio profiles that can be enabled or disabled independently from the EA's input panel.

Each open trade is managed with its own take-profit target, while additional positions can be added at predefined intervals if price moves against the initial entry. This averaging behavior is a form of grid trading. It can improve the average entry price during a pullback, but it also increases exposure if the market continues moving against the position.

Unlike systems that add positions at a fixed distance or rely solely on ATR-based spacing, ANDROMEDA uses a spacing method that takes the market's long-term directional bias into account before adding another position to the grid. This helps reduce the risk of adding positions too aggressively while the broader market move remains unfavorable, keeping grid additions more widely spaced instead of clustering them around the initial entry.

Trading Recommendations

ANDROMEDA includes a set of built-in presets that adjust which of the four portfolio profiles are active, based on testing across different broker environments. Alongside a fully Custom mode where each profile is switched on or off manually, there are dedicated presets tuned for specific broker groups, so the EA can be dropped onto the chart and run with a configuration already suited to that environment, without needing to test every combination manually. Custom mode remains available for traders who prefer to build their own profile mix or run only a portion of the portfolio. If your broker is not in the list, don't worry, you can use CUSTOM mode and toggle off strategies that may won't behave good as on other broker's price feeds. A built-in dashboard is included showing account balance, equity, floating P/L, active strategies, open trades, and current filter status in real time. It can be collapsed with a single click and does not affect execution speed, it's purely informational.
