Position sizing is one of the most important aspects of risk management.
StatsMood Position Sizer is a free MT4/MT5 indicator that helps you calculate the appropriate lot size in
real time based on your account balance, selected risk percentage and stop loss distance. It removes
the need for manual calculations and helps maintain consistent risk management across every trade.
As soon as the indicator is loaded, two draggable levels appear on the chart: Sizer SL and Sizer TP.
Simply move them to your desired stop loss and take profit levels and the panel automatically updates
all calculations in real time.
The panel displays the current symbol and account balance, the selected risk percentage, the monetary
amount at risk, stop loss distance, take profit distance, risk-to-reward ratio, ATR value and the calculated
position size. All values are updated continuously as market prices change.
Risk percentage can be adjusted directly from the panel using the built-in plus and minus buttons. The
indicator instantly recalculates the position size according to the selected risk level.
The take profit ratio can also be modified directly from the panel. When the risk-to-reward value is
changed, the take profit level is automatically repositioned while preserving the selected ratio.
For volatility-based risk management, the indicator includes an ATR(14) stop loss mode. By default, the
stop loss level is placed at a distance equal to one ATR from the current market price. The ATR multiplier
can be increased or decreased at any time, automatically adjusting both stop loss and take profit levels
according to current market conditions.
The current ATR(14) value is displayed in pips and updated on every tick, providing a quick view of
market volatility.
StatsMood Position Sizer is designed to work with most MT4 and MT5 brokers and supports Forex,
indices, commodities and cryptocurrency CFDs. Pip value conversion and risk calculations are handled
automatically regardless of the account currency or trading instrument.
