Donchian Breakout Signals MT4 plots classic Donchian upper, lower, and middle channel lines, then marks confirmed breakout closes with optional arrows, alerts, and EA-readable signal buffers.

Use cases

Track breakout levels from the highest high and lowest low of the selected lookback period.
Spot bullish closes above the upper Donchian channel and bearish closes below the lower channel.
Filter signals by body close behavior and minimum candle body size relative to recent ATR.
Feed EAs, dashboards, or scanners with stable signal, width, and quality buffers.

Basic use steps

Attach the indicator to a chart.
Start with ChannelPeriod 20 for classic Donchian breakout tracking.
Use the upper and lower lines as breakout boundaries.
Confirm arrows with trend, session, volatility, and risk context before trading.

ExcludeCurrentBarFromChannel: calculates channel levels from completed candles.
