Cyclic RSI Adaptive Bands is a free MT4 oscillator that shows RSI-style momentum with adaptive upper and lower bands.

Instead of using only fixed 70/30 RSI levels, it compares the cyclic RSI line against bands that adjust to recent oscillator behavior.

Use it to spot:

• Momentum stretching beyond the upper or lower band.
• Possible re-entry signals when cRSI moves back inside the bands.
• Cleaner overbought and oversold areas.
• Optional chart arrows for faster visual scanning.

Basic Use

1. Add the indicator to an MT4 chart.
2. Watch the cRSI line and the adaptive bands.
3. Look for movement outside a band as a stretched momentum condition.
4. Watch for re-entry back inside the bands.
5. Confirm with your own trend, price action, and risk rules.

Inputs

• manualdomcycle: sets the dominant cycle length.
• Arrows: selects which arrow signals are shown.
• MaxCalculatedBars: limits how many historical bars are calculated.
• DrawArrowsOnChart: turns main-chart arrows on or off.
• MaxHistoricalArrowBars: limits how far back arrows are drawn.

Buffers

• Buffer 0: cRSI value.
• Buffer 1: upper band.
• Buffer 2: lower band.
• Buffer 3: cross signal.
• Buffer 4: cRSI state.
• Buffer 5: dominant cycle.

Cross Signal Values

• 0: no signal.
• 1: cRSI crosses below the lower band.
• 2: cRSI crosses back above the lower band.
• 3: cRSI crosses above the upper band.
• 4: cRSI crosses back below the upper band.

cRSI State Values

• 0: neutral, between bands.
• 1: below lower band.
• 2: above upper band.
