GoldCream EA est un algorithme sélectif à unités de temps multiples conçu pour le marché de l'or (XAUUSD). Il est développé pour éviter le chaos du marché, contourner la poursuite des cassures et exécuter des entrées au plus profond des tendances institutionnelles existantes.

Stratégie de Trading

  • Sincronisation à 5 Niveaux : L'EA n'exécute des transactions que lorsque la structure du marché s'aligne parfaitement sur cinq unités de temps différentes simultanément (W1, D1, H12, H4 et H1).

Gestion des Positions et du Risque

  • Trading en Cluster : Le système divise le risque global en une séquence de positions partielles plus petites afin d'obtenir une diversification fluide.

  • Protection du Capital : Chaque taille de lot est calculée de manière dynamique et en temps réel en fonction de l'équité actuelle de votre compte.

As the description correctly says, this EA is highly selective. Per a backtest I ran (with default settings, on XAUUSD W1, "real ticks"), it'd trade during only 4 days in 2025, and 5 days in 5 months of 2026 so far. That's 9 trading days in ~17 months. Yet it managed to have one pretty bad equity drawdown spike, ending up with a recovery factor of 2.35, which is very low for such a lengthy time period. Such drawdown potential will limit the trade sizes reasonably usable with this EA, and combined with its infrequent trading I am unconvinced it is worth keeping it running throughout the year. The small profit per year may not be worth the distraction, given it'd be one of many EAs you'd use. Another observation I made is that all trades I got were buys - I don't know if this simply reflects the market, or the EA is somehow not currently capable of short-selling when it should.

Thank you for this incredibly detailed feedback! It’s quite hard for me to improve anything or help you when you just write a single word like "useless" without any context. 😂
Many other traders are currently using this EA successfully. If it’s not working for you, it is highly likely due to a setup mistake (e.g., wrong timeframe, wrong asset, or you forgot to enable "Algo Trading" in MetaTrader).

As the description correctly says, this EA is highly selective. Per a backtest I ran (with default settings, on XAUUSD W1, "real ticks"), it'd trade during only 4 days in 2025, and 5 days in 5 months of 2026 so far. That's 9 trading days in ~17 months. Yet it managed to have one pretty bad equity drawdown spike, ending up with a recovery factor of 2.35, which is very low for such a lengthy time period. Such drawdown potential will limit the trade sizes reasonably usable with this EA, and combined with its infrequent trading I am unconvinced it is worth keeping it running throughout the year. The small profit per year may not be worth the distraction, given it'd be one of many EAs you'd use. Another observation I made is that all trades I got were buys - I don't know if this simply reflects the market, or the EA is somehow not currently capable of short-selling when it should.

You are completely right: the Expert Advisor is designed to be highly selective, but I understand your concern regarding the trade frequency in relation to the drawdown spike and the resulting recovery factor. If an EA trades rarely, every single trade needs to count, and the risk-reward ratio must be tightly optimized so it remains a worthwhile addition to a multi-EA portfolio.
Regarding your observation about the buy-only trades: XAUUSD has been in a strong macro uptrend during the period you tested, which heavily influences the selectivity. However, I will double-check the short-selling logic to ensure everything is functioning exactly as intended and that no opportunities are being missed.
Please know that I am already actively working on optimizing the EA. I am fine-tuning the entry logic and risk management to reduce drawdown spikes, improve the recovery factor, and make the performance more consistent. My goal is to work hard on this until it is absolutely perfect.
