💡 How It Works
The indicator plots a central moving average surrounded by three volatility bands on each side. These bands are calculated using ATR (Average True Range), making them dynamically responsive to market volatility.
Trading Signals:
- 🟢 Green Up Arrow = Buy signal when stochastic signal line crosses above the lower threshold (default: 30) meeting all relevant conditions for a buy signal
- 🔴 Red Down Arrow = Sell signal when stochastic signal line crosses below the upper threshold (default: 70) meeting all relevant conditions for a sell signal
The combination of volatility bands and momentum signals helps you:
- Identify support/resistance zones
- Time entries with precision
- Avoid low-probability trades
- Filter out market noise
📊 Trading Applications
Mean Reversion Strategy:
Wait for price to reach outer bands (Band 2 or 3), then take trades when arrows appear in the opposite direction, targeting the central MA.
Trend Following Strategy:
Trade only in the direction of the trend when price breaks through Band 1 with a confirming arrow signal.
Range Trading:
Use the inner bands (Band 1) as buy/sell zones in ranging markets, with arrows confirming entry timing.

Moving Average Settings:
- MA_Period (default: 60) - Period for the central moving average
- MA_Method (default: SMA) - Type of moving average (SMA, EMA, SMMA, LWMA)
- MA_Price (default: Close) - Price to apply MA calculation to
ATR Band Settings:
- ATR_Period (default: 60) - Period for ATR calculation
- Band1_Multiplier (default: 2.6) - ATR multiplier for inner bands (closest to MA)
- Band2_Multiplier (default: 5.2) - ATR multiplier for middle bands
- Band3_Multiplier (default: 7.8) - ATR multiplier for outer bands (furthest from MA)
Stochastic Signal Settings:
- Stoch_K_Period (default: 15) - %K period for stochastic calculation
- Stoch_D_Period (default: 3) - %D period (signal line)
- Stoch_Slowing (default: 3) - Slowing parameter
- Stoch_Upper_Level (default: 70.0) - Upper threshold for sell signals
- Stoch_Lower_Level (default: 30.0) - Lower threshold for buy signals
- Swap these levels (70 and 30) for breakout signals
Alert Settings:
- Enable_Alerts (default: true) - Master switch for all alerts
- Enable_Sound (default: true) - Enable/disable sound alerts
