The zigzag is only good because you can use it to find out how much you could earn to the max if you were so darn lucky. And lick your face after realising that it's unlikely you'll ever be able to do that. )))

It's more of a VA based on a zigzag. It's more prosaic. It's based on an OL-SP.

Not just to calculate some distances and peaks on the zigzag, but to get separate waves (as shown in the figure).

And then you should be able to make a tasty dish out of them.

Just rather stupid construction of simple zigzags and fractals does not lead to anything good. However, maybe I can not cook from them myself ))))

Until recently, the presented code was not called a zigzag, but was just a function for searching extrema in the neural network teacher. But it was accidentally discovered that the found extrema coincide with the picture of IdealZZ, so it was decided to make this code as an indicator.

Support and resistance lines and trend channels can be found without a zigzag, and more accurately and faster. The zigzag is also bad for finding patterns. Of all indicators, the zigzag is the most useless for me. I have never been able to get something useful from it. Although, as they say, to a bad dancer ... So it was probably my inexperience in using the zigzag.

By the way, the H-characteristic of a symbol is elementary calculated via ZZ: H = average knee / minimum possible knee. But it makes sense only when taking into account Ask price, especially for small knees.

EURUSD has H ~ 5.5 for any time of the day at the minimum possible knee of one pip....
