Is there this Fast ZigZag for MT4 ?
1. And if you also remember about inserting history (e.g. loading the terminal)
2. By definition, no fast zigzag can correctly handle history insertion on two buffers.
2. I would like to know this definition.
By the way, the two-buffer FastZZ handles history insertion correctly, but this cannot be said about IdealZZ. When loading history, IdealZZ "loses its picture" and only restarting the indicator helps. It is easy to check this by running IdealZZ on a chart, where there is no (little) history and then load it.
Shorter. Later.
I have looked at your indicator, I am shocked that it works properly (especially saving bar number, not time), so I want to take it apart.
So I take back all my words and apologise. When I am ready to communicate further, I will write back.
And how to interpret the marked(????) places. Any ideas?

We are interested in the construction of black markings.
If there is an up-down transition in the right area, we should look for a high, without adjusting, without introducing any breakout levels.
As for the left area, there will most likely be (should be) a low on the hairpin to the left, so you need to tweak it a bit.
I tried to represent your picture in the code. I don't have AO_EMA indicator, so I used filter from iAO() and iMA(from AO).
This code is just an example to test the idea, you can easily develop it - rework/addition.
Single buffer variant
Yes, this is the easiest and fastest one-pass algorithm, which is elementary to use in various kinds of research:
I put AO standard. I put EMA 21 on it.
It's not the right picture.
Yuri, I have sent you the indicator to view the EMA calculation code.
