New MetaTrader 5 Platform Version Build 5640: Dark Theme Improvements and Markdown Support in MetaEditor - page 4

What happened to the drawings? It was so cool do draw boxes on top of each other to see the newer on darker.

Now its back like old ages again.... I draw a box and when I draw a smaller box inside, its transparent (background color). ?????

Been also having a lot of issues since this crappy uppdate came out, like lag,my vps performs incredibly slow, right mouse button doesnt work, well on and off etc!!
Just bring out an uppdate already to fix what you clearly have broken!!!
Because now my work on my mt5 platforms is impossibel!!
And when you say only a few people experience this thats so untrue that you could have it,I know a lot of people have the same issue and all the forums im a member of have the same problems or different ones!

Since updating to Build 5640, I have massive lags on my server (Intel Xeon E3-1246 v3 / Win 11). Before the update, it was working perfectly fine.

Interestingly, my other PC with a Ryzen 5600x works smoothly. It feels like the new version has a serious performance issue with older CPUs or their integrated graphics. This makes it impossible to not only trade manually but also  to run Expert Advisors properly on this machine. Please look into this, as the terminal is freezing constantly and it's no longer reliable for automated trading.

2026.02.24 17:44:25.599 Terminal Windows 11 build 22621, 8 x Intel Xeon  E3-1246 v3 @ 3.50GHz, AVX2, 8 / 15 Gb memory, 56 / 119 Gb disk, RDP, admin, GMT+5

P.S.
Microsoft Edge WebView2: I have reinstalled it and also checked for updates within Microsoft Edge, but this did not solve the problem.
P.S.
I also tried running the terminal completely without indicators and advisors; they weren't the problem.

I also have a serious request for the developers:
Please give us an option to  disable Live Update or at least stop the intrusive update pop-up. When you manage 5–10 terminals running EAs on a single server, having to manually decline the update notification every single day for every instance is extremely annoying and unprofessional.

MetaTrader is a professional trading tool, not an entertainment app. We need stability and the right to choose when to update our production environment. Forcing an update that breaks performance on server hardware is unacceptable. Please give your users the choice to stay on a stable build and disable these notifications.

So, to confirm, just running an "empty" MT5 build 5640 is slowing done your server, did I understand correctly ?

What are these "lot of issues" ?

Could you please provide your Journal log file ?

Are all these users, having problems with the new build, using something in common ? A VPS ? An indicator ?

Thats not going to help anything, trust me the only thing that will help is getting out a new version that actually works!
And also there isnt any error messages for incredibly slow CPU and right mouse not working after your crappy uppdate in the journal!

Very well said. I agree 100%

If I have one terminal open, I can work, slowly, but I can work, but if I open a second terminal, it's impossible, and I usually work perfectly with 5 terminals open, before this horrible update.

That's not going to happen, sorry.

I have a group of 500 users, nobody has reported an issue with the new build up to now. So it's not as simple as you may think. The problems need to be identified to be fixed.

We have here 5 people having issue with this build apparently. Fine. Up to now, none of these 5 want to collaborate usefully to understand the issue. Fine. Everyone is free. Though that doesn't help to fix your issue.
